A/N: I haven't written anything in a while, basically because of school. My apologies for not updating "Of Pity and Frustration" and "The Ten Commandments of FF7", I will get to it eventually. I refuse to abandon them. Anyway, I wrote this story on August 28th of this year (2008). I've decided to resurrect it, basically out of free will. I know that it's short, but this wasn't meant to be long. Actually, don't laugh, but this was one of my dreams. When Yuffie wakes up in this story, that's when I woke up. Strange, eh? Sometimes I dream up my fanfiction's. This is the property of my brain, on sleep.

Why do I do work in my sleep? The world may never know.

Disclaimer: If I did, then I would've had Vincent and Yuffie together years ago.

It wasn't at all a bad dream, but instead actually quite pleasant. There was no Godo, no cats, no AVALANCHE. And strangley, no material. Her dream consisted of an old friend.

"I love you Vince," she whispered in his ear. "I'll hunt you down and murder you if you ever leave me." She chuckled. "Well maybe I won't murder you, but you'll feel pain."

"And how would you hurt me?" He asked curiously, amusement written all over his face.

She pouted, "Actually, I hadn't thought of that just yet. But it would hurt. Badly"

Vincent pulled her in closer to him, hugging her more tightly. "That wouldn't help much Yuffie," he reminded her. "I would get all depressed, and then you know what would happen." She got goosebumps as soon as he said this, because she knew that this was indeed the truth. He would probably die.

"I really love you Vince," she reminded him, burying her head in his shoulder.

And then she woke up.

"Boy that was a weird dream," she muttered to herself, whilst rubbing her eyes.

"What was a weird dream?" It was Mr. Sexy himself, Vincent.

"Nothing" she spoke solemnly standing up. "I'm gonna go get dressed."

And as she walked down the hallway and into the bathroom, she realized that they would never be. They could never be together, all because of the past. All because of Lucrecia.

I totally support Yuffietine, but I just decided to experiment a little bit. I want them together just as much as any other Yuffietine freak.
