The Naked Man

It was late and Soichiro and L were driving back to HQ from the cake shop. Yagami was behind the wheel and had the radio set to a classical music station. L didn't mind the music, it was soothing to him.
The road they were headed down had woods on both sides. L wondered what kinds of things he might find if he wondered through. His thoughts eventually returned to ones involving the Kira case.
"Ne, Yagami-san." L began
"What is it Ryuzaki?"
"..regarding the Kira cas- OH MY GOD! WATCH OUT! THERE'S A MAN!" L yelled as he saw a man run out of the woods and infront of the vehical. There was a loud THUD noise and it was too late.
"OH JESUS. I HIT HIM!" Yagami immediately stopped the car and got out to see if the man was alive. L followed and looked down at the man laying out on the street bleeding. They couldn't help but notice that the man was...naked.
"What do we do?..Do we pick him up...?" L asked while staring down at the naked man.
"I don't know..he is in the nude! I've never been in a situation like this!"
L thought for a moment before speaking. "Yagami-san...what do you think..he was running from?"
Yagami blinked and looked at L. Then they both turned their attention to the woods in the direction the man came from.
"I don't know but I say we get the hell out of here before we find out what it was!" Yagami exclaimed while running back to his car and getting inside.
"Agreed." L said doing the same.
At that they sped off, going around the man, and never knowing what it was he was running from.
