"It's not the thrill of the chase for you, is it?"

"Hi, honey," Sara said, walking in the door, hanging up her coat, and tossing her keys into the ceramic bowl on the counter. "My day was great, thank you for asking. How was yours?"

"Ah, interesting." Sara glanced around at the boxes occupying most of the space in the living room.

"How'd that unpacking go?"

"I got through a few boxes."

"Until you found the Clue game?"

"Back to my question," Grissom said, rolling his eyes at her teasing, "Is it the thrill of the chase for you? Is that the enticement of this?" he asked, gesturing between them. Sara laughed, then noticed the look in his eyes.

"Oh my God, you're serious."

"Of course I am, Sara!"

"Oh, sweetheart," she started, sitting beside him on the couch. "You were so oblivious for so long, that if it had just been about a chase I would've found someone else long ago."

"Sara!"

"I'm kidding, Gil. It was never about the chase. It was about what happened after." He continued to look at her warily. "Gil, if I were in it for the chase, would I be sitting with you in our very own house a year after we got together? Would I be sitting with you even though you stayed home all day and only unpacked three and a half boxes? I don't think so." He smiled sheepishly, and she knew he was okay. Grissom pulled Sara back into his arms and kissed her soundly on the mouth.

"I love you."

"I love you, too." They sat in silence for a few minutes, arms wrapped around each other, when Sara said, "Wait. The thrill of the chase." She pulled back and stared Grissom in the eye. "You were watching my Grey's Anatomy DVDs!"

"Oh, look at all these boxes that need to be unpacked!" Grissom exclaimed, jumping off the couch. "I think I'll start upstairs!" He fled, and Sara raced after him, teasing him about his McDreamy eyes all the way.
