(A/N: This is something really random I came up with. Being me, I added some blackwater at the end, but other than that, this is my lame attempt at humor. What can I say? I'm not the kind of person who's good at writing funny stuff. Hopefully you guys'll read and review anyways. More on 'the game' in the end author's note. Oh yeah, and I lose.)
Winning and Losing
"I wanna fly
And never come down
And live my life
And have friends around
We never change, do we?
No no
We never learn, do we?"-Coldplay, We Never Change
"I lose," Jacob announces as he meets Leah in the forest.
"What did you lose this time?" Leah asks, raising an eyebrow.
"It's a game," Jacob answers. "The object of the game is to forget the game. If you remember the game, you have to say 'I lose.' You're playing now, just so you know." He punches Leah playfully on the arm.
"I guess I lose, then," Leah mumbles.
"I lose," Jacob says, grinning obnoxiously.
They transform into wolf form, and Jacob continues to think about losing the game.
Leah, being competitive, growls and tells Jacob, "Jacob! Stop making me lose the game!"
"Or else what?" Jacob teases her. "You'll kiss me?"
"Yes," Leah answers. "Yes I will."
"Iā¦lose," Jacob announces.
"That's it!"
Leah and Jacob phase back into human form, and Leah whispers, "Here's your punishment." Then she kisses him, not willing herself to break away.
"Leah," Jacob whispers into her neck, "I think we both won this time."
(A/N: See what I said about it being lame? Anyways, the game is an actual game. Some of you probably know about it already. The rules are basically what Jacob described. There are other rules and other versions, but that's the way I learned to play. Anyways, I know that this wasn't amazingly written, but I would be very happy if you reviewed anyways. Also, you probably want to review, because if you guys review I'll post this other fan fic that I wrote that isn't lame like this one. Oh, and I lose!)
