Long ago in a land called Trusken, there was a castle named Gemn. In that 300 year-old castle lived a family known as the Gemsons. Each family member was named after a gem whether it was their birthstone or not. Their crowns were pure gold with gemstones of all shapes and sizes engraved. The king of that castle was named Garnet Zircon Gemson. He married a beautiful maiden who is now queen named Amethyst Opal Pearlston. Together they gave birth to 8 gorgeous little babies. But these girls weren't like other babies, they all had a special power given to them by a fairy godmother.
The Gemsons' oldest daughter was 16 year-old Aquamarine and her power was cleaning dirty water hazards. Younger than Aqua by 1 year was Ms. Topaz; she had the ability to heat up like the sun. After Topaz were the Clear Twins, Diamond and Crystal. They were 13 with had very strong powers. Diamond could freeze time and Crystal could make anyone reveal the truth. The reason why Diamond had a stronger power than Crystal was because she was older by 13 minutes. Followed by the Clear Twins was 12 year-old Sapphire, who could control weather. 10 year-old Emerald had the ability to make plants grow and become healthier. Poor little 9 year-old Ruby had no talent. The fairy god mother did not give her one. She said that being born in July was good enough. The youngest of the sisters was helpful Alexandrite. She could make anything edible and delicious even though she was only 7. Cooking was her ability.
Because Ruby had no power there was someone out there who wanted to kill her. Someone very evil and wicked. Onyx, the dark fairy. She is pretty and gentle-looking. But that was just there to hide her evilness, ever since she found out that the 7th daughter of the Gemsons' had no talent she has been wanting to assault Ruby. No one knew about her vicious plan except for her spy bugs. They fly all around Trusken to spy on everyone.
