AN: I've been having writers block for a while for my other fanfic and I should be writing it but I heard this song and I had to do this!

I don't own the song or hetalia

I remember when my little sister ran outside while I was practicing my shooting. She was so excited I could tell that easily by the smile on her face that was brighter than the stars and sun. And the way she stood, her head held high and joy in her face. She was simply glowing with happiness. This made me curious why she was in such a good mood.

Looking down I saw in her hands was a letter, opened already. She stared at me with eyes filled with excitement and joy.

"Big brother I need you. There's a ball at Miss. Hungary's house and Latvia was the one who asked me to come!" She said, her face turning slightly red at that one Latvian nation's name.

At those words I felt my heart sinking.

"And I need to practice my dancing. Oh please big brother, help me practice my dancing?" Her voice was quiet as she asked me, like she was nervous. I put safety back onto my rifle and placed it down on the floor carefully.

"Sure I'll help you Lil. We can practice until midnight if we need to…" As I said those words, her smile widened. She grabbed my arm saying thank you over and over, pulling me back inside into the old dining room. I moved the tables and got an old tape recorder to play a nice slow ballroom song.

Our hands melted together and we started to dance to the slow flowing music. Each time she stepped on my foot or made one simple mistake she would whisper a sorry, but I enjoy every minute of it.

We danced and danced, song after song, because… I didn't want to miss a single one of those songs. I wouldn't miss a single moment to spend with my little sister.

After a while our feet longed for rest, so we stopped and sat down. I remember her smiling slightly and saying thank you again, telling me how much fun it was practicing with me and how she couldn't wait for the ball. I nodded and after a while she ran up to her room to look for a dress to wear to the ball.

She asked me if her dressed looked alright. The dress was amazing. Light purple with a black flower vine reaching from the bottom to the top on the left side. Plus it glittered lightly at the bottom. I told her that it looked wonderful and that she would be like Cinderella at the ball.

Nodding she smiled and ran back off to her room. I looked down to the floor and sighed. Because I knew…

I knew when the clocked strike midnight…. She'll be gone…

AN: So I remembered this song Cinderella by Steven Curtis from a while ago and I listened to it. It reminded me of one Switzerland and Liechtenstein and their family bond. And two it reminded me about my daddy who I love so much. I know I should be writing my other fanfic and updating it but I really wanted to write and put this up. Love you all Little Phili out!~
