He was flirting with her, for the fourth time today.

Ling growled in frustration. Greed can flirt with all the women he want, hell- he would allow him to sleep with them- in his body.

But her.

Anyone except her.

Ling narrowed his eyes as he continued to gaze at the sin attempting to make a move on her. He would feel the corner of his lip curl up whenever she would reject him harshly. He nodded with pride, good girl. Her cold shoulder-ness made Ling shudder each time, truly grateful that the person she intended to be cold to was the homunculus sharing his body. Greed would always click his tongue in annoyance, though his smirk appear to grow larger.

"You know brat, you remind me of Envy sometimes."

Ling arched a brow at the sin, who cocked a brow at him back. The prince folded his arms, tilting his head up to face the homunculus. He frowned, he hated that homunculus. Especially with what he did to him back when Lan Fan had just cut her arm. That… creature turned into her. Before he had the chance to slice him to pieces- Envy became the person he wouldn't dare hurt.

"What do you mean, Greed?" His question was rather irritated, his voice growling.

"You know exactly what I mean Prince," He snorted. He smirked at the prince, "Sorry but- I'm Greed. I want everything. What yours is mine. So Toots here-"

"Don't call her Toots," Ling snapped, causing Greed to stop midway his gloat. Greed blinked several times at the prince before laughing like a maniac. Ling's scowl deepened, clenching his hands to fists.

"Why don't you take her already?" Greed questioned him, his cocky expression planted on his face. Ling narrowed his already squinty eyes to glare at the sin whose smirk grew even larger.

Why bother asking when he knew? They both know. Even Lan Fan. Ling sighed out heavily, sitting down criss crossed. Greed always ask the same question whenever she was brought up. And why does it matter to him?

"I am in no position to-"

"You are going to be Emperor of some country- marrying about 50 wives," The homunculus interrupted, a scowl on his face, "Isn't she one of your people? Your possessions? From what I see, it seems you cherish her more than anyone. So won't you take her? The law? You're the king! You can change it to your liking."The prince paused, as the sin's wine red eyes glowered at him.

Ling stood silent, knowing very well the homunculus is right. He knew all along- everyone did. But he would ignore the chances to change everything? Why was he? Was he scared? He was willing to risk his life- his body to gain the throne, and yet he is afraid to tell the one he cares most of his affections.

Why Ling, why?

"Make your move or I will."
