"Ginny! Ginny! Ginny, wait up!" Harry called, running after Ginny in the crowded hallway. He had been trying to ask her out for 1 week now. And it was not going well. She was always surrounded by friends or in class or in the Great Hall when he had to be in class. He had finally plucked up the courage to ask her out and was not going to let her get away this time. When everybody in front of him finally moved, he didn't see her. 'She must have gone to class already' he thought, sighing in defeat once again.
Quidditch practice rolled around. She couldn't escape this one. Harry walked onto the pitch, got out his broomstick and did a few laps. Soon after, the rest of the team appeared too. Ginny with them, of course. They practiced and practiced until they had nothing else to practice. Harry was becoming too much like a certain Captain Wood. Harry had told the team to hit the showers and was now slowly walking back to the locker room. BAM! He rammed right into someone. "Ouch!" a familiar girly voice said. Ginny. Oh no. Harry quickly got up. "I'm so sorry Gin. Let me help you." Harry said. "Oh it's alright. Wasn't looking the proper way, I guess." She replied. He helped her up and she got very close to him. This was not his intention, of course. To pick her back up so she would be inches away from his face.
Ginny cleared her throat. "Sorry again, Harry." She left, leaving Harry disappointed I himself.
It was only after the game on Saturday that Harry asked Ginny out on a date. The rest of team, apart from those two, had gone back to the common room to celebrate their win without even showering. Ginny stayed behind, as did Harry. "Ginny." He said confidently. She turned. "Listen, this Saturday, do you want to go to Hogsmeade together?" She looked at him with wide eyes. "It's okay if you say no. I mean-" He was cut off by their kiss. He was shocked at first, but then her realized who it was and began to kiss her back.
"Yes, I will go to Hogsmeade with you." She said after they finished snogging.
"Come on, let's go to Three Broomsticks." Harry said. He was carrying Ginny on piggyback through Hogsmeade. They had been dating for 3 months now. They arrived and had a butterbeer each. Like a true gentlemen, Harry paid. They spent the rest of the beautiful day by the Lake.
