A/N: hello people, starting a Reid fic, because lets face it he is everyones fav. Idk if it will just be friends or more, im just going to make this up as i go along. Anyway i do not own criminal minds or their character i do however own my own character and yeah, enjoy 3.

Charlotte's P.O.V.

I was suspicious when I was called in for visiting. I had no family who cared about me. No one I worked with would come, that could get them caught. I never had visitors. Just the occasional letter and a birthday present from Uncle Eddie.

I understood, that is what it was like with criminals. You never have anyone or anything you can not immediately leave behind.

My cellmate Rebekah also looked at me weirdly as I got up. I turned around and smiled at her as the guard put on my hand cuffs.

"Isn't visiting hours over?" She asked a little hostile at the guard. I shrugged at her as I was asked to turn around by the guard.

"For you they are. She has a very special visitor." The guard said glaring at her.

To say that she did not like Rebekah was an understatement. I understood, she had been an idiot once and punched her. It had gotten her respect from the other inmates but on her bad side. Now she was in their stupid gang. I tried to stay out of all that. I stepped on no ones toes, kept my head down and mouth shut. So I was left alone, hell I did like Rebekah. She was as dumb as they come and was here for assault, but she respected my privacy.

I gave her a small wave, well as much as I could in handcuffs. Smirked before I was nudged to get going.

I walked down the hall smirking, also trying to hide the fact that I had no idea what I was walking into.

Probably another hot shot lawyer trying to get me to give someone up. Like that was ever gonna happen.

I was sat down in the interrogation room and told to wait. I just smiled and looked up at the guard.

"Cool. Thank you Cheryl. By the way, how is the kid?" I asked smiling kindly, she rolled her eyes at me but smiled a little.

"She is fine, thank you for asking Lola." She said and I smirked.

"That is so great to her Cheryl." I said she again rolled her eyes at me.

"I am not giving you any of that cake Lola. Now wait here." She said and I frowned.

She knew I had a sweet tooth, and that I had noticed the birthday cake while walking here. I sighed and waited in the empty room. I still find it weird that they install these two way mirrors. We all have watched TV, we know that they are there.

I sat up straight once two men walked into the room. They both wore suits, ones was neater than the others. They carried files, but no briefcases, I took a small breath in through my nose and smirked at them.

"Agents." I said greeting them, they shared a small look, one of them smiled before turning their attention back to me.

"Charlotte Castello?" One of them asked and I nodded.

"I am supervisory special agent Aaron Hotchner, this is SSA David Rossi." He said pointing to himself and the other man. I gave them both a polite smile and nod.

"What can I do for you then?" I asked.

Without responding, Rossi threw a file in front of me on the desk. I looked at them confused for a second before opening up. I looked it over for a moment. Scanning what I hoped was the most important information. Once I had done that I looked at them more confused than before.

"What is this?" I asked confused, neither of the men changed their blank expressions.

"Your file." Hotchner said, I had to resist rolling my eyes, so resorted to smile sarcastically.

"That much is obvious. Why am I looking at my own file?" I asked.

"You are the reason we are here Ms. Castello." Rossi said and I raised my eyebrows, looking at him annoyed.

"Well, what am I being accused of?" I asked leaning back in my chair looking at them annoyed. Rossi chuckled a little which confused me even more.

"We are not accusing you of anything. We want you as a CI." Hotchner said. This got my interrest. I mean I would never rat on anyone I knew, but if I could help catch a competitor while getting some time off my sentence, then what would be the harm? I had no street cred to lose.

"We looked into your background Charlotte. You are highly intelligent. You never left any evidence, even though being involved in multiple robberies, and scams. They were only able to get you on possession charges." Hotchner said.

I leaned forward again this time I was smirking.

"Well, allegedly I was involved. So. Who would I be helping with what?" I said, now they both looked at me dead serious.

"We are with the behavioural analysis unit, for the FBI." He said and I looked at him confused.

"Which is?" I asked and Rossi smiled a little.

"We study the psychology of criminals, usually serial killers, but also terrorists and any other psychotic criminals. We do this by building a psychological profile of the killers." Hotchner said coldly.

"I stole art, I didn't kill people. How can I help you?" I asked genuinely confused.

"You read us like an open book as we walked in here, you knew instantly that we were agents. You are also extremely adapt at cracking codes, which may come in handy. You also know how people who break in think. And how to pick targets from your pickpocketing days." Hotchner said.

I looked at him almost surprised. I had never thought about it like that. Maybe I could help them.

"But, we also know you lack empathy for other peoples privacy. While you never used violence in your robberies, you still grew up in a bad environment, that enforced this bad behaviour. Never once thinking of the victims, and how your actions hurt others." Rossi said calmly, I knew he was trying not to sound judging, but I still took some offence. Hotch apparently noticed this and cleared his throat.

"What Agent Rossi is trying to say is. You have the skill to help, but you need the will to do so. If you agree to this, there will be some benefits, but also some major disadvantaged to breaking our rules." He said and I nodded understanding.

I took a deep breath, contemplating my decision. I looked from one to the other. They looked calm and composed, but I could also see in their eyes, they were studying me. They wanted to know who I was, I could understand. I nodded slightly.

"Okay, give me the pros and cons." I said and he nodded opening the file to bring out a contract.

"This is the fine print, but I also want to tell you. Should you sign up to this, you can be called on to cases at any time. We work anywhere in the states. While with us, you are allowed to carry a cellphone, no weapon. You will also have an ankle bracelet on. While at our offices, if you step out of the building, swat will be there in two minutes. Same thing will happen, if you step more than 150 feet from any of our team members. Same thing applies if you try to tamper with it or take it off. Also if you are spotted in contact with any of your old associates, you are out. If we ever catch you taking or in anyway posses anything that is not yours you are out. Understood?" Hotchner said looking at me seriously. It was a lot to take in, a lot of understandable rules, but still a lot of information to take in. I slowly nodded for him to continue.

"You will take direct orders from us. If you break any of these rules, you will immediately be sent to a maximum security prison and lose any time off you may have gained. Understood?" He said and once again I nodded.

That was harsh I was in a minimum security right now. There were a lot of tough girls in here, I did not want to know how tough they were in max.

"There is perks though. You will be able to get out while we are working cases. You will be able to use your talents for good. And for every criminal we catch you get a month off your sentence." Rossi said and I smiled.

This was a pretty good deal actually. I would finally get to go out, and interact with people who were not guards or inmates. There were some downsides though, CI's were usually not well liked in here. And while I liked to keep to myself in here, they would certainly notice. I could get some good beatings just as insurance that I would not rat on them. I would not, but I knew I was facing some beatings as a precaution. I did not have that long left of my sentence, I could just serve and get out. I am not sure I would get accepted by anyone I had worked with if it came out that I was working with the Feds. I knew a lot of people, who knew I never ratted but it was still everything I had known. Then again, Eddie said that Hugh had run of with my share of the last heist. So it was not like I owed them anything. Maybe it was time to leave that world behind and do some good.

"This first case is gonna be a trial, so if you decide you dont want to any way, or we see that you can't help us you wont face Maximum security." Rossi said breaking me out of my thought, I smirked and nodded.

"You will still get that, if you try anything though." Hotchner said and I faked a sad face.

I bit my lip nervous about this. But what the hell, if I figured I did not like it, I could just tell everyone I was only pulled out to go to court or something, no harm done. I let go of my lip and it turned into a smile.

"Alright. When do we leave?" I asked.

The two agents looked at each other then smiled at me.

"We will let you know." Hotchner said.

He gathered the papers and shook my hand as did agent Rossi. They stood up and left the room. The guard came in and dragged me back to the cell. I was a little chipper and Rebekah noticed. She was of course all over me but I just shrugged it off. Telling her it was a smug lawyer as always trying to get me to roll.

Heyo, I am updating the fic, because I wanted to change some things, and make my character fit better into things. And I changed her name to Charlotte/Lola, because its my story, and I can, what are you gonna do about it?

This will mean some drastic changes, mostly to her character. But also I plan on adding some extra chapters and such, which is fun. Anyone who is reading for the first time, anything with Ali I have yet to update, so don't get confused, I hope you enjoy these changes, if not I still have the old addition. ;)
