Sunlight shone brightly above the city and made the fluffy white stuff on the ground sparkle. Unfortunately you were not one for liking it. Alexia snuggled deeper into her two-layers of sweaters, plus the long sleeve shirt, and shoved her gloved hands into the pockets to warm up. The pants she had chosen were actually just two pairs of sweatpants with a pair of fluffy socks shoved into her normal shoes. It was cold and she didn't like it. In fact, Alexia was miserable while her friends ran around her throwing snow at each other.
One such snowball managed to smoke her in the arm and Alexia raised her head to scowl at Tyson who had thrown it. "Baka. Don't throw the snow at me!" The girl yelled before burying her face into the second layer of warm clothing.
"Oh come on Alexia! Why don't you like it?"
Honestly, that kid was such an idiot sometimes. Alexia rolled her eyes at the question and shivered once more before she decided to answer.
"Because. It's cold and wet. I don't like being cold and wet. Remember the lake?" Max paused mid-throw to look over at her huddled form with a laugh. He finished the throw at Tyson's back and ducked to avoid the incoming snowball.
"Oh yeah. You said you'd rather run than be cold." Alexia nodded twice at his statement just as Chief dodged a ball of snow thrown by Max.
"Didn't you use to live in Russia Lexi?" He asked his question out quickly before yelling as Ray got him in the back. Dizzy was set down in a blanket on the bench next to her, yelling out to be careful every now and then.
"Tch. Yes. And it's one of the reasons why I hate snow. I lived with it for 16 years." She growled out, shivering and shaking in the bundle of clothes. Kai threw her a look from where he was standing in his winter clothing than looked back to the snow fight. "If only it would melt already."
Tyson screamed a girly scream as both Max and Ray pelted him with snowballs before they ran away from his rampage. Hillary, ugh Hillary, was finally wearing pants instead of a skirt and was laughing as Tyson managed to get a load of snow on his head from a tree he ran under. Chief had been in the clear before Alexia's favorite Neko-Jin had found him and smoked him with a soft ball that fell apart waaay before impact.
"Here." Her looked up with a start as she felt a super warm piece of cloth wrap around her neck. It was Kai's scarf! Her gloved hands ran over it and she smiled softly as he looked as cold and uncaring as always.
"You forgot one. I want mine back though." The Russian boy folded his arms over his chest and stared at the snow being tossed back and forth. She turned her face back to the fight and buried her face in the Kai-smelling and very warm white scarf.
The snow wasn't the only thing she wanted to melt.
