Dean was content. He was finally able to have a relaxing shower with hot water. Sammy was geeking out in the library, looking for a new case, so Dean knew there would be no interruptions. They had been chasing a group of vampires from the last state and had finally caught and killed the last male. Sam and Dean had celebrated by checking into a more upmarket hotel and decided to take a few days off. As a result, Dean was pretty happy. However, as Dean turned round to pick up the shampoo, he noticed Castiel standing in the shower with him. He screamed, 'Jesus! What the hell, Cas? Personal space?' Castiel looked highly uncomfortable and said, 'My apologies Dean. I didn't know you were in this…situation.' Castiel's tan trench coat was soaking and water was pouring from his hair, all over his face. Even the socially awkward angel understood the intimacy of the current situation and apologised again. Dean had started to calm down slightly and said, 'Just get out of here Cas. Go and dry yourself off. I'll speak to you later.'

'So what was so important that you wanted to shower with me?' Dean asked the angel when he was back in his hotel room. Castiel looked uncomfortable as he answered Dean: 'I never meant to intrude on your privacy Dean. I thought I heard you call me so I came to see why I was needed. I'm sorry, it was a mistake on my part.'

Dean studied the angel carefully. Recently, he had been thinking about Castiel. Dean had been missing his angel. He missed the way Castiel would tilt his head to the side when he was confused and he missed staring into Castiel's brilliant blue eyes. But Dean would never admit it. He laughed off the angel's apology, saying: 'Your angel radar acting up, eh? Don't worry about it, plus you kind of suit the wet look.'
