A/N: All right … I know, you're just sick and tired of me … but ACTUALLY, I'm the one that's sick and tired. Literally. Damn roomies, getting me all sick and groggy. Anyway, here's a quick and short piece of fluff … WARNING, IT'S A BIT OF A SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN/READ/HEARD THE STARS (LAST) SEASON! If you still don't know what happens, wow. And yes, I know most of the world should know what happens, but the last thing I need right now is to be sick and irritated. And I say "a bit" of a spoiler, mainly because I twisted the ending around a bit to work for me.
Sorry if this piece is a bit incoherent, I'm rather juiced on Tylenol Cold caplets … The song is Heaven by DJ Sammy, but I was listening to the Candlelight Mix – which in my opinion, is bloody amazing. And lastly, thanks to the latest people to add me to their fave lists, I'm actually quite shocked people still put up with my sporadic writing.

Heaven
It was for nothing. Everything was for nothing. Gomen nasai, Setsuna-san, Hotaru-chan … "Haruka." Despite the suffocating blanket of betrayal and pain tearing through their bodies, her voice was still calm. That was Michiru. Calm, graceful … simply perfect.
Oh, once in your life you find someone
Who will turn your world around
Pick you up when you're feeling down
"What?" The sky senshi replied, mustering as much strength as she could in her voice to match that of her partner's. She could feel her heartbeats slowing down, but wouldn't give up just yet – as long as Michiru was still here, she would be too.
Nothing could change what you mean to me
There's a lot that I could say
But just hold me now
Cause our love will light the way
Extending her hand over the ledge that she had fallen from, Michiru grimaced at the pain it caused but refused to leave this mortal world alone, "I want to touch you …" She almost smiled, for even in their condemnation to hell they would be together.
I've been waiting for so long
For something to arrive
For love to come along
Haruka felt a smile creep along her lips as she spotted Michiru's elegant fingers appear from below. It had been ages ago since she had first seen those hands clutching an artist's sketchbook, but even now the details in Michiru's beauty captivated her. Taking a deep breath, she extended her own arm in an effort to reach her. The blonde winced as she tried to touch Michiru's hand, searching for any strength left in her to do so.
Now our dreams are coming true
Through the good times and the bad
I'll be standing there by you
The sea senshi let her intuition guide her hand, unable to see where Haruka was laying. She was regretful that she wouldn't be able to drown herself in her lover's teal eyes one last time, but would take anything she could. At last she felt a soft brush against her palm and intertwined her fingers with Haruka's. "I see the light …." Though it was barely audible, Haruka could still pick out Michiru's melodic tones amongst the destruction of Tokyo.
Baby you're all that I want
When you're lying here in my arms
I'm finding it hard to believe
We're in heaven
"It's warm, Michiru …" Holding each other's hands until their last breath, they embraced the light letting it envelope their existence and seal it forever.
And love is all that I need,
And I found it there in your heart
It isn't too hard to see
We're in heaven.
