This is a poem to the tune of "Hush Little Baby", with similar wording, about L and BB. The tune to match this song is not quite as serene and quiet as the original lullaby, but faster like Eminem's "Mockingbird". Anyway, the setting is that BB cornered L and is madly trying to decide whether he wants to kill him or not. Written from Beyond's POV, obviously.

The poem should be grouped in three lines per stanza to match the rhyme scheme. If it isn't, the rhyme scheme will help you.

I do not own Death Note *sigh*

Hush, little Lawli

Don't you cry

BB's gonna rip you up tonight.

See this knife?

Now don't say a word

No one's around so you can't be heard.

Leave a bruise,

Cut here and there

I'm going to spill it all right here.

Your skin's so lovely,

Shining like ivory

It looks much better mangled and bloody.

Crimson, scarlet

Red running blood

Tear the skin and make it flood.

I'm going mad

From this rich scent

I scream in pleasure yet you're silent.

What a rush

From the dripping life

My hand pauses from swinging the knife.

Why have I stopped

When I want much more?

The pain in your eyes sets my mind at war.

Your body displays

My finest art

But your eyes show me what's in your heart.

What's that I see?

Happiness? Sadness?

Now it's hope, and then madness.

Now, what is it Lawli

Don't run from me

The door is locked and I've swallowed the key.

Who's better now,

You're far from free

You're an inch from death and at my mercy.

As I stare down

You meet my gaze

The fire in your eyes shines a burning blaze.

My heart melts

Then cries in agony

And so sobs the killer BB.

So hush little Lawli

Don't you cry

I could never hurt you. I don't lie.
