Author's note: Hey guys, thought I'd make something for the DouxWata fandom! Anyway, I submitted this poem as an article for our school magazine (so yeah, it's COPYRIGHTED) but this time I'm gonna use it for fan fic, with yaoi of course XD. This is an English sonnet so if I made any mistakes about the meter, rhyming scheme and whatnot, please tell me. Iambic pentameter is 10 syllables right? I'm new to this so please read, have fun, and don't sneak off without reviewing! :)

CONTRACT
A covenant made which can't be defiled
An agreement upheld as it was made
Rules to follow that cannot be denied
Though time shall pass, the contract will not fade
The promise that was made must be fulfilled
All prices paid for, none violated
All requirements must be met, as instilled
Balance achieved, fully compensated
When one gains, one must also sacrifice
When something is won, something too is lost
When you realize that you become wise
You know that some lines should never be crossed
True resolve is that you know what you'll lose
Yet that is still the path you wish to choose
