Killing Spree.
Red. Everywhere. Blood red. That's what Taito was greeted with. He had a feeling something was up with Kiku and had gone on a mad search for her, finally finding her in an abandoned warehouse. Dead bodies and blood formed a sea on the floor, kicking through the mess he looked for Kiku.
"Kiku?" He called out, his voice eerily echoing around the building like a ghost's cry. He heard some sloshing on the distance and went in hunt of the sound.
It wasn't long before he found Kiku, her white clothes and skin now stained as red as her hair. "Taito! Don't come closer, its dangerous!"
She dropped her cleavers, waving her hands in front of her in an effort to stop him.
"What's happened?" He asked, stepping over a body toward her. It wasn't unusual to find Kiku amongst a graveyard of blood and corpses, but this was different somehow. He couldn't put his finger on it. Kiku stepped back into the shadows, "Leave, Taito!" She shrieked like a banshee. He ignored her. Once he was close enough, he saw the problem.
A small pocket knife was lodged in her gut, blood spilling from it like a waterfall. How was she standing? "We have to get you to a hospital, Kiku." He said, examining the wound like a work of art. Kiku screamed a 'no' at him, feebly trying to punch him and recoiled in pain. "Fuck off, vermin," She croaked. He remained stoic. "Who did it?"
"I already killed the fucker!" She laughed shortly, before wincing. "Just leave me here, Taito. Go away." Kiku collapsed to her knees, coughing up blood.
Taito took his time thinking about what to do. He could leave her here and say goodbye to the demon woman he loved. His soul-mate. His other half. Or he could take her to a hospital where the doctors could fight for her life.
Taito fell to his knees in front of her and cupped her face, staring into her almost lifeless red eyes. He placed a chaste kiss on her lips and she promptly blacked out.
Slowly, she woke up to the bright white light of day. Where was she? She tried to remember what had happened. She was killing people, rejoicing in their cries for help. Then she remember seeing Taito staring at her. "Taito?" She choked. He leaned over, "How are feeling?" He asked her with a blank expression. "Shitty," She glared up at him trying to sit up and groaned in pain, abandoning that idea.
"Where are we?" Taito looked around, somewhat amused.
"I dunno', somewhere..." She turned her head to she the remains of a door crumbling to pieces. Derelict. They were somewhere derelict.
Then Taito pulled a small knife from his sleeve. Kiku looked to the blade, admiring the light bouncing off it. He then took the knife to her face and made a small cut down her cheek. He let the blood escape before licking up it's length.
"Don't leave me," She said after a gasp of pleasure. He smirked, taking the knife to her thigh, "I'm never going to leave you."
End.
