"Oh, it's so beautiful!" I sang looking at the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. "But, your more beautiful" Nick cooed nuzzled in my neck, with his arms wrapped around me. I smiled. "Can you believe it is going to be 2014 already?" I asked my four year boyfriend. "I know I can't believe it" he smiled. Joe and Miranda walked over hand-in-hand, "Hey guys" they smiled. We ran over to them, "So, what is it, a boy or girl?" I blurted out excitedly. "Both! We're having twins!" Joe shouted hugging her. "Awe! Congratulations!" I tell them. "Great job bro!" Nick playfully punched his shoulder while I hugged Miranda. *ring, ring* Nick answered, "Okay….we'll be right there….yes, and tell Garbo." He hung up. "Guys, that was Kevin, we need to be on the stage in five minutes on Times Square."
Miranda, Danielle, and Kevin III (Kevin and Dani's baby boy), Frankie, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas and I went to the side of the stage (VIP seats) and saw them perform from there. They did an amazing job and performed Summertime Anthem. The crowd cheered and it was almost ear-piercing. The video camera switched to Ryan Seacrest, "And that was an amazing performance by the Jonas Brothers. Next we have Jordan Sparks singing 'Tattoo' and Taylor Swift with 'Fifteen', stay tuned" and it cut to a commercial. Ryan Seacrest walked over to us and started randomly asking Joe and Miranda questions. They told the media that she was expecting twins and they are very excited.
It was now 11:59 and the count down began…59…58…57. When it hit 10 seconds, Nick was fumbling with something in his pocket…5…4…3…2…and he got down on one knee, the cameraman immediately switched to us. "When I first met you four years ago, I immediately felt a special spark between us. I love the way your eyes sparkle and your smile is breathtaking. I knew after a few dates that I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you and have a family. So, I'm asking will you marry me." I looked down into his sparkling chocolate brown eyes and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and I love him too. I nodded my head up and down very quickly and said 'yes' about a hundred times. He placed the ring on my finger and I jumped into his arms and kissed him with so much passion I almost forgot we were on live TV and billions of people were watching us. We pulled away, "I think that right there was more interesting that the New Year's Eve ball drop." Ryan stated. We blushed. "Congratulations you two and Happy New Year everybody!"
Danielle with baby Kevin, Kevin, Miranda, Joe, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas came running up to us. "Congratulations you guys!" they all smiled hugging us. "Welcome to the family" Mr. and Mrs. Jonas said hugging me. "Welcome to the family sis!" Joe picked me up hugging me and spinning me around. "Hey sister in-law!" Dani and Miranda told me, "Let's see that ring!" "It's beautiful!" Dani said admiring it. "It's better than mine!" Miranda teased, "Hey!" Joe said pretending to be hurt. "Awe, you know I'm just kidding baby, I love you!" she said wrapping her arms around his neck. "Okay, I forgive you, but you need to make it up to me later." he told her with a smirk, causing her to playfully punch him. "Well it looks like we should be heading out…" Danielle stated looking at baby Kevin sleeping. "We better too, I think I owe Joe an a apology." She said smirking. "Congrats guys" everyone said leaving. Nick and I left about awhile later due to the fans and reporters congratulating us.
We went back to the hotel, took showers and changed into pj's. I laid on the bed and Nick joined me, "Goodnight my love." He pecked my lips; "I love you." I told him and we both drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.
