Carmilla and Laura was packing some clothes when there was a knock on the door. They both look at each other then looked at the door. The girls didn't think anyone would be knocking on their dorm door. Most of the people who were focred to dig to the gates of hell left while they were in the pit and those who were still at the school for what ever reason was probably busy packing. " I guess I'll get the door." Carmilla said as she walked over to door. Laura nodded and went back to pack their clothes. She open the door to see Laf and Perry standing there. "Carmilla ,I'm so sorry about Laura. I wish that I could go back in time to save her." Lafontaine said as soon as the door was open.
Carmilla felt anger running through her vines as she look at the ginger she could say anything Laura was by her side trying to see who was at the door." Laura?! You're alive?!" Perry asked as she tried to look behind the ex-vampire. Carmilla moved to block Laura from the view of Laf and perry." Yes, she is alive. Not that you care." Carmilla put as much venom in her words as possible. "Of course we care that Laura is alive! She's our friend." Laf tried to get around Carmilla to get to Laura but Carmilla didn't let them. "If you care so much about her then why did you just leave the pit without even giving Laura a second look? Mary sue at the very least said something . All you did was fuss over her and then left me with Laura's dead body." Carmilla alomt scream the last few words at Laf. "Carmilla! Do not yell at our friends. We all been through a lot and yelling at each is only going to make everyone feel even worse." Laura said as she tried to get by her girlfriend. "Laura, how can you defend them? They didn't care that you were fucking dead. They fucking left me with your body-" Laura flinched at Carmilla words." -Neither of them cried or anything. " Carmilla's voice sound broken. Each word burned her throat. Laura could see how close Carmilla was to breaking down. Before Laura could do or say anything Carmilla spoke." I had to watch the love of my life die right before my eyes. She made a deal to make sure everyone was safe. She gave up her life so you could live. And you both just left like Laura didn't even matter to you."
Both of the gingers look at the floor,guilt eating them up inside. " We're sorry Carmilla. We wanted to give you some time alo-" Laf stated to say but they were cut off by Parry. She just grade Laf's hand and walked back down to their room.
That's when Carmilla finally broke down and start to cry. Laura immediately pulled Carmilla into a tight hug. The fight with Laf and Perry was forgotten for now as they stood there for a long time as neither of them said a word. After a while Laura put her hands on Carmilla's face and stated to wipe her tears away. Carmilla's eyes were red from crying. " Promise me you're not going to do anything that could get yourself killed." Carmilla finally said. Laura took one of Carmilla's hand and put it over her heart. Carmilla felt Laura's heart beating strong under her hand." I promise. " Laura said before she softly kissed Carmilla.
