Sarutobi Hiruzen, Third Hokage of the Leaf, laid his head beside his adopted grandsons body, crying softly as he viewed the damage that had been inflicted onto one Uzumaki Naruto. Thinking back on the last few hours brought Hiruzen into a rage, before he stood up and cleared his throat, bringing his hidden Anbu into view.

He only said one sentence "Bring me Uchiha Sasuke, NOW!"

*FLASHBACK*

Uzumaki Naruto, Genin of Team 7, sighed as he sat on a multi-story building, staring at the streets below, the Second stage of the Chuunin Exams had just ended with the Preliminary rounds(Battles almost exactly like canon, except naruto actually fought and won against Kiba), and he couldn't help but be both excited and terrified with his opponent, the Genin from Sand, Gaara.

Naruto was brought out of his thoughts by a commotion in the streets, seeing a huge fire heading for two other people, he acted on instinct, throwing himself towards the ground.

(Moments Earlier, with Sasuke, Ino, and Sakura)

Sasuke grumbled as he heard his accursed Fangirls call out to him, stopping for just a moment before continuing.

"Sasuke-Kun, wait up!" Exclaimed Sakura and Ino, as they chased after a slightly fuming Sasuke.

What do you want?" Sasuke asked in a monotone, as he finally turned around to look at the two annoyances that had been following him since the end of the preliminary rounds.

The two girls stopped, surprised by the ire in his voice, before going back to their fangirling.

"Sasuke, we wanted to know if you would-" Sakura never got to finish as Sasuke cut her off with a snarled "No!" "B-but Sasuke, we can take you-" she was cut off as a smack echoed across the now silent street.

Ino, quick to step up to protect her new/old friend, found a flaming dragon heading her way after she told Sasuke off. With the screams of the civilians, the off duty shinobi trying to save them, and the two girls being targeted, only saw a yellow flash before they were lying in front of some dumbfounded shinobi, they only had enough time to look backwards, towards their savior before the dragon exploded.

A gold-cloaked Naruto was what greeted them, a serene smile on his face, before it contorted in pain.

*End Flashback*

I know it's not very long, but it's just a start, hope you like it, I have no idea where it's going to go, but I can't wait to see
