Hello. This is Ivanna Sedai, used to be Kraken173. This is my first
Kingdom Hearts fic, it takes place at the very end of Kingdom Hearts, as
the door is closing. So there are spoilers. Mickey Mouse is completely non-
existent in this fic. This is to Imaginary by Evanescence, which is really,
really hard to spell. Oh yeah, this is also my first non-humor fic and my
first song-fic. I'll probably do more.

/I linger in the doorway Of alarm clocks screaming
Monsters calling my name/
Riku watched the door as it closed, watching as the great white monolith sealed itself, and his fate. He tried not to cry at the slow, agonizing, motion of the door that made the small window through which he could see his friends smaller and smaller.
"Take care of her"
And what about him. The heartless were coming for him.
/Let me stay Where the wind will whisper to me And the raindrops as they're falling Tell a story/
He wanted to run to Sora and Kairi, wanted to save himself from the darkness that was pulling him apart. But he couldn't, the darkness that shadowed him was keeping him back. Restraining him from the world he knew and loved, where the wind would dance in the palm trees, as rain played musically in the ocean. That was who he was, and where he belonged, back on the island, watching the wind and rain of a storm on the ocean. Why was he trapped in this eternal blackness.
The light was gone, the door had been closed. The darkness overwhelmed his sight as heartless massed around him, not even their yellow eyes visible in the shadow. They were sensing him as one of them, and he could feel them too, in his heart and in his soul. Was he one of them now? One of this mighty host, trapped in it's own element. The darkness engulfed him, and he embraced it, as it was all that was left. He closed his useless eyes and imagined. . .
/In my field of paper flowers And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me/
He thought he could hear the waves crash onto the shore, like a vast army rushing forward, only to sigh a retreat. The waves murmured words to him, hopelessness and despair, they told him of sorrow and grief. The salt air was musty but bitter, warmed by a sun that did not touch him. The wind brought cold fog and the smell of death. It howled a mournful tune, the voice of one who has given up and only hopes that others will hear his grief. But no one will ever hear. The darkness washed over him again, tainting him with it's evil. The heartless were still coming, making him forget.
/Don't say I'm out of touch With this rampant chaos- Your reality/
The heartless were tearing him from his daydream, to the chaos that was his new reality, and here he was one of them.
/I know well what lies beyond My sleeping refuge-the nightmare I built my own world to escape/
They were pulling him away from his memories, ripping his essence out, making him forget the sun and starlight.
/Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
The goddess of imaginary light/
He could remember the moon, in a dark, starless, sky. And dark waves, tearing at a rocky-black coast. A dark ocean, under a rolling black sky. Clouds. A black rain, driven by a fierce, dark wind. That is what he was now.

Okay. . .erm I wanna do more song fics, so review and tell me what you think! Constructive criticism/flames welcome if you tell me what I did wrong. The song is in //'s it's supposed to be centered and in italics, but I doubt it will come out like that.
