Disclaimer: I don't own them, but if you find it necessary to sue me, you can have what's in my purse. Let's see, a stick of gum, some loose change amounting to 98 cents, a couple of tissues, a bus ticket, and a pen. They're all yours.

Ok, here's a weird little poem - T/H, set to the lyrics of Suicide is Painless! Boy, I get stranger as I go along. Please keep in mind this is a first attempt at M*A*S*H poetry, and a second at slash, so don't make me cry. No super harsh comments.

Thank God That You're Here With Me

Through blurry eyes I see your face, So glad I found you in this place, Your lips with chapped fingers I trace, Your lovingness I can't erase.

Refrain Thank God that you're here with me, Alone I never will be, I've found love in the midst of all this pain.

And if this madness ever ends, Will we be more than just good friends, Who knows what comes around the bend, But broken hearts don't quickly mend.

Refrain

My hands run paths throughout your hair, As words of love mix with the air, I hope that you will always care, I know I will, on that I swear.

Refrain

You held me when I was afraid, You would always come to my aid, I'll keep the promises we made, I pray with Fate we haven't played

Refrain

And now I hear you've left today, No more words I'll hear you say, Now that you have gone away, How can I last another day?

Thank God I had you with me, But now alone I will be, The love I found has been replaced with pain, May God ensure that we will meet again,

I hope that I will see you once again.

Ok, this is the part where you leave reviews telling me how much you like it. I'm kidding, I know, it was bad. I had to use a rhyming dictionary to get the words to fit. Oh well, for a first attempt it can't be THAT bad. Can it?
