The Not So Lost Puppy
A/N: This is a fanfiction about sisterly love. No incest or romantic feelings between sisters. Just a cute little fic inspired by episode nine of Karin aka Chibi Vampire.

"Onee-chan," a small voice escaped the lips of a young vampire. Anju Maaka had seen Karin's and Kenta's reflection in a window and was now staring sadly from afar.
Once, not too long ago, the sisters had been inseparable. Anju followed Karin wherever she went, and the elder one would always keep an eye on the much smaller silver-haired girl. Now, Anju would go away on her own, and Kenta was the new owner of Karin's eyes.
Later as she sat in the park, Anju ignored the rain and stayed on the swing, crying with the sky. The third-grader was feeling quite lonely. After all, her once ever-present sister now spent almost all of her time with that boy, Kenta Usui. It didn't feel right to the younger vampire. Anju thought she would be ok as long as Karin was happy, but the small, girl was now longer happy.
After the rain had stopped, Anju stood up with her umbrella and slowly began to head home. Large golden eyes were filled with pain, but no one was around to notice. When she was finally home, the first one to greet the youngest Maaka was the one she most wanted to see.
"Anju where were you so late?" Karin asked as the door was shut.
"Out." Then, Karin gave her a present. It was small and wrapped in a bag. When Anju opened it, she almost started crying again. Karin had seen her across the street. Karin had seen her staring in the window. And Karin had bought the little stuffed dog that was displayed behind the window Anju had been staring through.
"Arigatou Onee-chan."
Later that night, Anju Maaka sat on her bed feeling happier than she had in a long time. Instead of holding Boogie-kun like she usually did, in Anju's arms being held tightly was the cute stuffed dog Karin had bought.
"Daisuki Onee-chan," and the little girl knew her big sister would always make time for her. Anju knew that Karin would always love her.
