Love/Hate Relationships
(A/N: This one is sorta like some other stories I've written, so I
apologize for any monotony.)
*****
I hate him.
That's the one thought about Ron that keeps running through my mind. Ever
since we started dating, the ever-so-famous "Trio" seemed to be split
apart. Harry is often by himself, given too much time to brood on his past
experiences and memories.
*****
I hate to see him like this.
Harry is the one person I really love, but I could never tell Ron that
outright. It would break his heart. Harry and I get along so well. Much
better than Ron and I do. All we do is bicker. All of the pea-brained
busy-body girls in my year seem to think that all of our arguing is a sign
of tension. A different kind of tension than it actually is. I can tell
that Ron knows how I feel about Harry and I think it is slowly eating away
at him.
*****
I hate to hurt him like this.
I told Harry how I felt today - right after Ron and I decided to break up.
Ron didn't seem surprised at the idea, and he actually said he agreed with
me. However, I could see that he was hurt and angry.his face was turning
red like it does before he is about to start yelling. But before he could,
he left the common room, leaving Harry and me by ourselves. So, I worked
up my nerve and talked to Harry. His reaction, well, caught me off-guard.
He admitted his feelings for me, and they were definitely ones that were
more than one friend would feel for another friend. Funnily enough, he
caught me off-guard again, and by 9 o'clock, we ended up snogging in the
middle of the Gryffindor Quidditch Locker Rooms! Unfortunately, Ginny and
the rest of the team (other than Harry, of course) happened to walk in on
us in the middle of our.snoggage. It wasn't a lovely sight to be seen, to
say the least. Poor Ginny nearly fainted! Meanwhile, Dean and Seamus were
in amused shock; Pavarti and Lavender started giggling, and they turned
bright red. Worst of all, Ron stood frozen, his mouth hanging open.
However, he thankfully began to chuckle and shoo everyone out of the room
so "Harry and Hermione can take care of some 'unfinished business.'"
Well, needless to say, that much needed to be finished "business" is quite
finished now. Perhaps this year hasn't been so horrific, after all.
