"Put him down over here," Emma motioned to the couch in her house as Buck and Kid brought Cody in. Doc said he was fine, but it could be a while before he was back to normal.

"Doc says he'll be fine Emma, don't worry," Buck reassured her.

"Oh, I hope so." Ike and Teaspoon had also come in to the living room. "Speaking of which, I need to go check on Lou." She left for her bedroom, where Lou had spent the whole day, mostly sleeping.

"Emma," they heard from inside the room before Emma had even gotten there, "are they back yet?'

"Yes, dear." Lou raised her voice.

"Would ya'll come in her?" Smiling, the four men eagerly left Cody to Emma so they could go see Lou.

"Hey Lou," Teaspoon was going to fix the problem early on, "I'm, uh, I'm sorry about what I said. I didn't mean it and-"

"I know you didn't," Lou said as she smiled, "It's real nice to see ya, but, uh," she bit her lip, "would you mind if I talked to Kid? In private?"

"Yeah, sure," Buck answered for the group, "No problem. C'mon, let's go help Emma with Cody." The thee left, leaving just Kid and Lou in the room. They shut the door behind them on the way out. Kid sat down on the bed beside her.

"What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Well, you see," she paused for a bit, "you know when Christians do things they know aren't Christian, but it's for a good reason?"

"What are you getting at, Lou?" She took a deep breath.

"Kid, I aborted our baby," Kid's demeanor changed almost immedeatley.

"Oh, Lou.." She burst into tears.

"I didn't plan on ever seeing you again. And I didn't know what kind of life this child would have. I figured I would never be allowed back here like this. I'm sorry, Kid," she sobbed into his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her.

"It's okay, it'll be okay…"

As night fell, Jimmy left for Anabelle's house from his new home. When he got to her yard, he noticed a strange horse outside, but thought nothing of it. He tied his up next to it, and proceeded to the door. He knocked.

"Anabelle? It's me, Jimmy," she didn't come to the door, but he knew he could hear her inside, so he let himself in. "I promised you I'd co-" He stopped. For right inside the door was Anabelle and another, older man, making love right there in the front room. The man, startled, left the situation, and went to go put on his pants.

"Jimmy, it's not what you think-"

"Then what it is? Huh?"

"I was just-"

"You were having sex with, with," he pointed to the man, "Him. I ought a kill you right now, you bastard. Sleeping with my girl…"

"Jimmy, I'm not your girl, we're just friends,"

"The hell you ain't my girl. First Cody, now this ass, what are you, a whorehouser?"

"Yes," she raised her voice, "Yes I am. He was the third guy tonight, and I'm proud of it," she stopped again, "And if you don't like that, why don't you just leave? Don't you understand? I'm a player, a liar, a slut. Why do you feel the need to be attracted to me?"

"Oh, come one, Anabelle-"

"Just leave. Now." Jimmy started to make his way out, he saw the man again.

"Hey," he poked at Jimmy, "Thanks for ruining my night. Cost'd me three dollars." Jimmy realized he recognized the man. His name was Mike, but he had only seen him once before…
