Take

They can remove anything they want from me
My jewelry can be stolen
Each ruby and emerald that was enjoyed
Will be returned and never seen again

My title and position can be erased
An unrecognizable name
Echoing within the halls
Will be shunned and unheard

My ladies can be shipped away
The conversations that were exchanged
During embroidery and festivities
Will forever be silenced

God can take away our children
Each drop of blood that drained out of my body
And the daughter that was rejected
Will all be in vain because of the role of legacy

They can take all they want
But the love that I bear and treasure for you
Will still remain within me

Forever

Author's Note

I have never actually watched "The Tudors". Ever. I only saw clips and MVs on YouTube! haha! :P I wrote this out of randomness. I don't know why, though. hehe!

This poem's in Katherine's view. She's my favorite wife, and she is one of the reasons why I'm taking Spanish in school. haha! Poor girl... This could be in Anne's view too, since she also went through the same thing as poor Kathy, but I pity Kathy more. :( Both of them are unfortunate ladies who went through hell just because they didn't provide boys. :P *hugs* RIP, girls...

Feel free to review! (By the way, I don't own "The Tudors". Otherwise, if I did, I would make Maria Doyle Kennedy dye her hair red, since Kathy had red hair in real life. WHY DIDN'T THE STAFF LOOK AT PHOTOGRAPHS! THEY HAD THE BUDGET AND TIME!! GRRR...!)

Anyways, reviews, please! ^^
