The siren rang and the sound of swishing capes rushed into the control room. I heard a tense, urgent chorus of "What happened". I reached over to the off button and the alarm stopped dead.
Looking up I saw the faces of my team, Raven: the silent but brutal demoness, Beast Boy: the team clown, Starfier: the beautiful alien princess, Tera: the earth shaker, turned bad, turned good again, and Cyborg: the metallic meat-aholic.
There was no better team anywhere, but today I had to improve on even that. While they were amazing crime fighters they lacked a more… personal refinement.
We knew little to nothing about one another and individually we all had no …personality releases. We needed something to do together. To bond us as a team.
"guys, for the next few days we are going to be doing something new…we are all going to try out each other's hobbies, follow each other's routines, and listen to a bit about each other's pasts. I think this will really help bind us as a team and-". "I'm out of here-"snaps Raven as she moves to leave the room.
"Nope, we all participate" I said swooping between her and the door. "One person each day-"I paused grabbing something off the counter"and we will be drawing names out of a hat to be deciding".
I put my hand into the hat and plucked one out…
"Looks like BB will be starting us off" I called out. Beast boy got a weird look on his face and proceeded to quickly shift to a pout… covering some sort of emotion on his first face.
"We start tomorrow at the crack of dawn, get some sleep everybody tomorrows a big day" as they filed out I saw something etched into Ravens and BB's faces…
Oh well nothing to worry about yet and maybe tomorrow would shed new light. As I retired to my room I could have sworn I heard a muffled curse word coming from one of the rooms down the hall…

BB sat silently in his room thinking. "Damn… tomorrow will be …"
