It all started with a project in English.

They were supposed to watch a movie and write a report about it.

She ended up being paired with Renge.

Of course the Host Club found out.

So here they were. watching it.

The movie.

Labyrinth.

It began with a girl in costume, saying her lines. It was progressing in a plain, predictable manner which suited her.

However, Renge had selected the film, so she had learned not to hope for simplicity and waited for the other shoe to drop.

She had learned that the best way to survive the craziness was just to wait it out. She'd put in the time and watch a movie with everyone, go home and write the report.

But Haruhi, the poor girl, always underestimates her luck.

More precisely...the lack of it.

So a barn owl flies in and in a shower of glitter, transforms into a sparkly-clothed, wild-haired, flashy-eyed attractive blonde-haired man and she knew it was over.

She takes a glance at Kyouya and his telling smirk (terrifyingly similar to one the man on the screen was giving) confirms it.

"Kyouya! Look! This should be our next theme!" Tamaki gushes excitedly. "It's perfect!"

She plasters a palm against her face. Hard. In the vain hope that it wasn't real. She heard Kyouya chuckling at her predicament.

She hears Sarah wail 'It's Not Fair!' and she couldn't help but agree that it never really was.
