Compromise
Tai always tried to come to all of Matt's gigs, and Matt always tried to come to the finals of Tai's football matches, because being there for each other at vital times is an important part of a relationship.
But there were times when they couldn't do it- when gigs were too far away, or matches were at times that clashed with tours, and they never got angry or disappointed by the lack of the key face in the stands or in the crowds, because the most important part of a relationship, they had learnt with time and many, many mistakes, was compromise.
