Ghirahim slid down the wall, leaving a streak of blood behind him. He coughed, looking up at the figure.
He paid a price, allowing Link to run and he was stripped of everything.
He was mortal and he was learning mortal wasn't great. Not at all… Tears streamed down his face as the warm liquid left his body and he slowly lost control of his arm, his limbs falling slack.
Link, I saved you, save me. My hero… He thought before he crumpled to the ground as his mind blanked out and all life left his body.
Link stumbled across his body sometime later, the smell of the waste his body had let go in the moment of death. He felt his eyes tear up and he fell to his knees.
"Oh, Ghirahim…" He murmured, his head down and his shoulders shook. "I wish I could tell you I love you but I can't… You're too far from me."
He felt a hand on his shoulder and he turned. He felt a hot stab of pain and he looked down to see a dagger running him through. He looked up at his killer and smiled.
"Thanks, I'll be seeing my precious demon soon." He whispered sweetly, anger in his tone and he slumped forward, blood spilling out quickly. The dagger was torn from him.
"I killed him too." The killer replied and Link smiled as he slowly pulled a knife out and threw it.
The killer was hit dead, the knife hitting him in the eye. Link smiled before turning to Ghirahim, knowing he couldn't be saved, and he got shakily to his feet, moving Ghirahim's body and pressing a kiss to his cold forehead. Link lay down beside his, closing those lifeless eyes and closing his own, welcoming in his death.
Link opened his eyes and he felt kisses being applied to his face and he smiled as he saw that the person kissing him was Ghirahim, his clothing clean.
"I heard. I love you too." He murmured and hugged him.
