That was beautiful! ...RIGHT! on with the story!
It was a dark night. The chilled wind drifted along the black street and between the shadows of the houses that lined it. Tall trees towered over the road like giant robed figures, casting their long shadows across to iether side, The only lights were from the street lamps, but even they flickered out one by one, as if snuffed out by some ominous hand. Now the moon wasn't even out enough to shine its light on the dark figures that had just appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. They glided along the pavement silently for an age before stopping in front of a space between two houses,
"Are you absolutely certain this is the correct location, Wormtail?" The high-pitched voice of one of the robed figures broke the silence.
"Y-yes, my Dark Lord, I-I am p-positive." A short, and slightly plump Wormtail replied, stuttering pathetically.
The Dark Lord Voldemort turned slowly towards what was now, not a space, but a quaint house. "You have done well, Wormtail," Voldemort hissed. "Your Lord is very pleased with you."
With that, Voldemort stalked towards the door to the house, blasting the door down and entering. Almost immediately he was hit squarely in the chest by a jynx that knocked him backwards slightly.
"James! No!" A woman's voice screamed.
"Lilly! Take Harry and run...now!" James yelled at his wife, firing another Jynx at Voldemort, who countered.
"Lilly! Don't worry about me! Take Harry and run!" He yelled as he dodged an oncoming spell from Voldemort, which bounced off of a mirror and crashed into a chair which melted on the spot.
"James! Please!" Lilly pleaded.
"CRUCIO!" Voldemort screeched.
James fell to his knees. "LILLY! RUN!" he screamed.
Suddenly there was a blinding flash of green light and James Potter fell over. Dead.
"NOO!" Lilly screamed.
Voldemort's high-pitched laughing echoed through the house.
"No! Please, don't hurt Harry! Take me instead! please!" Lilly pleaded to Lord Voldemort.
There was another Blinding flash of light and Lilly fell dead, Harry sill in her arms.
"Now...you" Voldemort's high-pitched cackling filled the room as there was one last flash of light.
Only a few miles away, Sirius Black woke with a start.
right! so review!!
