Just a drabble about Laura's brown chenille robe and the circumstances surrounding it.
The Paradox of the Brown Chenille Robe
It would seem that the appearance of the brown chenille robe marked a life changing and/or life shattering event in Laura's life. Was this by accident or design? We can only guess.
These are the times that I remember her wearing the robe and something terrible happening:
"Days of Sunshine, Days of Shadow, Part 1"
Laura was wearing the robe when Doctor Baker told her that Almanzo had had a stroke and was paralyzed.
"Child with No Name"
Laura was wearing the robe when she discovered her baby boy dead in his cradle.
"Look Back to Yesterday"
Laura was wearing the robe shortly after hearing about Albert's plight and sat before the fire contemplating his impending death.
