Prologue
The topic of love is a hard one to say the least. It has ups and downs. It's crazy, amazing, life altering, and when you find the right person it's worth risking it all to have a forever with the one you love.
Love can be magical or disaster, and we're lucky if we find it truly find love once in a lifetime. Love can be traced all the way back to the times of Adam and Eve the first man and woman on earth... But if you were expecting the classic love story... This is not that story there no evil stepsisters, no girls trapped in towers,no fairy godmother's, no talking sea creatures, no spells, no pumpkin turned carriages, no curses, no talking teapots, no talking rabbits proclaiming," I'm late, I'm late,for a very important date." This nontraditional fairytale does however and happily. But not in any way you'd ever expect. This is a futuristic tale of love 200 years into the future in the year, 2214. In a bustling inner-city with the most unlikely of friends and the most unlikely of romances. After the end of the world in 2014 the survivors who have been cryogenically frozen had a chance to rebuild their lives since the rebuild, cancer has been cured and science advanced far beyond its years with the first landing on Mars, along with the invention of homework robots, time travel, schooldays that are one minutes long, virtual-reality helmets, smart houses, hovercrafts, teleporting buses, hover cars, robot pets, the restoration of extinct animals, and robot babysitters The heads of dead presidents and actors have been cryogenically frozen and brought back to life. This futuristic world has been inhabited by humans that over the last 2 centuries, have evolved and mutated into animal hybrids. Therefore hybrid humans and "common blood" humans, (humans who have not been effected by any mutation) have begun to form interment relationships. However one of the miracles that come from true love, the birth of a baby is forced to be hidden.
By strict rule of the government the couples are forbidden to produce "half bloods".(babies born with half human abilities and half hybrid abilities). "Due to the unstable and unpredictable nature of the offspring, and the potential danger for harm to the citizens the birth of offspring is temporary forbidden until scientific testing is complete" . Until then the offspring are deemed "A danger to society". Some say, "The testing is justified due to potential danger to citizens". While other citizens would argue, "The testing is cruel and unusual punishment, and that with the right training they can live in the city just every other citizen".
