Prologue
Haruno Sakura gazed deeply out her kitchen window. She noticed her teammate, Naruto, using his trademark kage bunshin no jutsu. He was running around chasing Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon after stripping him of his orange jacket. Sakura sighed deeply, and kept looking. She noticed Konohamaru performing the sexy no jutsu, an interesting and prevented jutsu in her eyes. This only made her sigh more. She walked away from the window. Her parents were gone for the weekend so she was alone. Naruto had offered to come over to help her out, but she refused. That was two days ago. Now that her parents were gone, she wished Naruto did knock on her door every once in a while. Sasuke, on the other hand, was busy being himself. No chance of seeing him except for later today when they would meet with Kakashi, Shikamaru and other genins.
Inside, Sakura was depressed. Yes, she was a genin level ninja. But the best she could do was a simple clone technique, transformation, and kawarimi magic. Everyone else could do his or her special jutsus. Kage bunshin, shoshouryuu*, Katon Goukakyuu*, just to name a few.
~Author Note: When you see a word with an *, it's an attack name. What it means in English and does is explained under that sentence the first time it's used.
*Shoshouryuu- Rising Twin Dragons: Used by Tenten. Two scrolls rise in the form of dragons, spinning in a spiral. The user then appears in the middle of the spiral a throws a bombardment of different weapons.
*Katon Goukakyuu- Grand Fireball: Used by Sasuke. User breathes a huge fireball from their mouth. Uses a lot of chakra.
"When it all comes down to the wire, I'm useless unless fighting someone with no experience whatsoever." Sakura said to herself.
"Or you could listen to what I'm going to tell you and then say that statement again."
Sakura looked out the window. Tsunade was looking at Sakura, smiling and waving as Kakashi would do when he snuck up on people.
"Hokage-sama, you're as bad as Kakashi." Sakura gave her a bad look.
*Inner Sakura: Horrible! Just plain horrible!
Tsunade face dropped. "Well obviously you don't what this offer I'm about to give you. Kakashi did recommend it after all." Tsunade still was outside the window. "Can I come in?"
Sakura felt a little embarrassed. "Oh, right. Sorry." She opened the window to lit Tsunade in. Once inside, she sat in one of the table's chair.
"Sakura, Kakashi has told me that you excel in basic ninjutsu better than many genins and chuunins. Sadly, as you think, your talent is going to waste. But it can't. Besides, the Hidden Leaf Village is going to need you very soon. So let me cut to the point. You're going to be trained by a guy by the name of Sorano Ryuu, the kawarimi master."
Sakura oddly looked at Tsunade. "The who?"
