I DO NOT OWN PJO, RICK RIORDAN DOES.
OKay y'all, this is the sequel to 'nothing is what it seems' and 'what comes next'. It isn't intended as a story per se, more like a bunch of one shots from Annabeth's POV on her and Percy's hilarious attempt at raising a family. It is most likely all going to be in Annabeth's POV.
Please review and tell me what you think! and remember, review=updates! So pretty please review, they all absolutely make my day! :)
Annabeth POV:
"We're going to have to tell my mom. Everyone knows except for her." I told Percy.
We had told our parents and close friends that we were expecting twins, but we had managed to keep my mother Athena, goddess of wisdom, in the dark, ironically enough.
"She's going to kill me!" He said. "Or worse, she'll take away my manhood or something!" He squeaked.
I laughed, finding his fear of my mother quite amusing. "I'm pretty sure she won'tcastrate you, seaweed brain." I giggled. "And we're going to tell her today if we can." I told him.
"Well I'll be there, but you are doing the talking." He said nervously.
"Works for me." I said.
"HOLY MOTHER OF KRONOS!" Percy yelped in pain. He buckled at his knees, and fell to the ground.
"Mother!" I screeched. My mother had kicked Percy…well where it hurts most.
"Percy are you alright?" I asked nervously.
"Yeah." He managed. "Just a major blow to my ego and unbearable pain is all."
My mother laughed. "Apparently the Son of Poseidon has more than one weak spot!"
"Not helping!" I yelled. "Was it really necessary to do that?"
"Yes." My mother retorted.
"Well it wasn't very nice!" I snapped.
"Well I am not the goddess of friendliness, Annabeth." She said.
Percy had managed to get back to his feet. "Can we go now?" He asked softly.
"Yeah, good idea." I said. We rushed out of the temple and made our way back to the elevator that lead back down to the empire state building.
While we were in the elevator, I handed Percy some ambrosia from my purse. He ate it, and I could immediately tell he was feeling better.
"I told you your mom would do something." He mumbled.
"Yeah, but I didn't actually think she would do that." I said laughing slightly.
Percy chuckled. "Do you want to stop by my mom's house before we go home?" He asked.
"Love to. Your mom loves me." I said with a smile.
"Yeah, I noticed." He laughed. He planted a kiss on the back of my head, and we walked out of the elevator, and into New York City.
We took Percy's car to his mom's house, and we were immediately welcomed in.
I told Sally & Paul what had happened when we told Athena, and they found this as amusing as I did. Percy however, didn't seem to find it as fun as the rest of us.
"So when will you find out the gender?" Sally asked.
"Well, we have a doctor's appointment next week, and we'll know then. We'll be sure to tell you as soon as we find out." I said smiling.
Sally teared up and gave me a big hug and chattered about how lucky Percy was to have me and so on. I really loved Sally, she was a great mother in-law and friend to me. I always loved it when she would tell me embarrassing stories about Percy.
After stopping by Percy's mom's house, we drove home.
"I've never seen my mom this happy." Percy said, and he held my hand. "She's really very excited about being a grandma." He said.
"I'm excited too. We're the first demi-gods ever to have children. I'm eager to see how they will turn out." I said, grinning.
"They better love to swim." Percy said smiling. "I read in the newspaper yesterday that you can start swimming lessons as soon as your baby can sit up by itself!" He said elatedly.
"Well, I'll be sure to look into that." I said, giving him a kiss, as we walked into our house.
