A maiden, who the angels favoured as Nefertiti

A vision, (if imagined) of nothingness

Dark, void and quiet

Exploding from the gods, a flame of design

(if not design, a perfect mistake)

Like bellowing clouds

Softly, violently shaping to figure

A silhouette, the gods even envied

The curvature sweeping, a symmetry weaving

Something was forming

Forming, conjoining

In tune with the universe

Simply enthralling

The gods, now dethroning, (falling from glory)

All glory is drawing to this one silent creature

Exalting it's wonder (the god's only features)

Immaculate, left them in tears

And the angels came stirring

Sitting and staring

Something had claimed wonder much higher

The only thing higher than the stars of the gods

To mortal, and angel, and omniscient being

The light came to bright to bare

And after their eyes had come sickened with light

They knew that perfection was there

For in their pursuit of perfection

(Proven much too great to consume)

Came this queen from the heavens far beyond all compare

Beyond all compare, but still rests her eyes there
