This one does not own Beyblade unfortunately.
Tigers and … Pajama Pants?
Kai felt like screaming. How anyone stand this was beyond him.
'Stupid freaking pajama pants'
The Bladebreakers were in yet another hotel. This one was no different from the last. The walls were tan in color with an almost swirly pattern to it. There were two double beds, one for Kai and one for Ray. Their tacky floral pattern comforters lay on the floor by the wall in a haphazard heap. The matching sheets pulled lightly over the beds occupant. The only sound in the room was the buzz of the air conditioner as it worked to cool off the muggy summer air.
Kai felt a growl rising in the back of his throat and made no attempt to stop it.
"Kai? Something wrong?" Ray asked, turning to face the blader in the bed opposite his.
"No."
"Okay."
Kai twisted in his bed trying to find some comfort, but no matter which way he turned his pant legs turned the opposite. Kai hated wearing pants to bed for this very reason. Normally he would wear his boxers and a t-shirt, but Ray was in the room. Kai let another growl escape his slightly parted lips.
"Kai? What is it?"
Kai could feel Ray's eyes on the side of his face.
"Nothing."
He could sense the frown marring Ray's face. Kai turned on his side facing away from Ray and continued to pull at his pants. If only he could straighten them out then he would be fine. He didn't move that much is his sleep anyway.
"Ah. I see. Your pants are bothering you?"
"Hn."
Ray laughed quietly in the darkness. Kai forgot for a moment about his pants as the beautiful laugh echoed in his mind. It sent shivers down his spine.
"Twisting won't help. Just stand up and fix them"
"Mind your own business Kon."
"It is my business. You are keeping me awake with all of your Wrestling with those pants."
The accent that Ray put on "wrestling" gave Kai the chills. Ray's voice was doing things to Kai. Things Kai secretly didn't mind. It didn't help that Ray's voice sounded just a little louder and huskier than it had before.
"You know Kai, there is a simple way to deal with your problem." Kai gave a start as he realized Ray was just a few inches away from his ear. He could feel his hot breath ghosting over his ear and neck. It made him shiver, much to Ray's delight.
"What are you doing Kon?" Kai asked turning his head to look up at Ray.
"Helping you." Ray said as he put one of his knees on the edge of the bed, right behind Kai's back and leaned over. His left arm supporting him on the bed in front of Kai's chest. Their faces mere inches apart.
"If your pants are bothering you that much…." Ray's hand shifted to the fabric tie on Kai's pajama pants slowly pulling it loose. His fingers finding the rim of the offending garment, and giving a soft tug. Kai's face turned red, his body frozen in place.
"….Then take them off. I don't mind. Not at all. In fact I think we would both be much happier."
Kais breath hitched in his throat as Ray pulled the fabric the rest of the way down, discarding them on the floor by the bed.
"There. Isn't that better?"
Kai could only manage a weak nod, stunned into silence.
"Good." Ray said, leaning down to whisper in Kai's ear. "Goodnight."
Kai blinked in surprise as Ray quickly left his side, and jumped back into his own bed burying his head under the covers. He watched as Ray curled into a ball and drifted off to a peaceful slumber.
'Damn. Now I need to go to the bathroom. I'll get you back for this kitten. Just you wait.' Kai thought as he threw the sheets off of him, and padded softly into the bathroom.
'Maybe next week my boxers won't cooperate.' Kai thought with a smirk as he closed the bathroom door as quietly as possible.
'Just you wait.'
