Author's Note: The song's R n B, sorry. (I think it is anyway).
It's on YouTube as Tsukimori and Kahoko.

Tsukimori glances up from his music sheets. There she is. The one who could make him play differently, more freely. He depended on that a whole lot more than he would ever let on. Of course, when it came to matters of the heart, she was oblivious. More than anything, she had a lot of admirers, and someone he had instantly started hating. It was harder for him to cope with, and his music changed again. He couldn't play anything jolly, or mysterious. Now it was all forlorn and full of a darkness he didn't know he was capable of.
Still, his eyes never once wandered away. Not even when she was with that particular person. He thought she was like an angel. Too pure and beautiful to look at, but too hard to look away from. Even if it did break his melting heart, he wouldn't look away. She was exactly what he wanted and needed.
However, he just wished that she'd finally do something about that person. He walked all over her, and she took it all. Tsukimori couldn't understand why, because she was smart enough to know she should walk away, but she doesn't. She hasn't. She won't.
Tsukimori turns his head away and scoffs. The only thing he can't bear to watch is when she walks away from him, even if she doesn't see him. It only widens the gap that he feels he can't possibly close. He shoves his music sheets into his bag and walks away. Chancing a glance over at her, and he instantly regrets it. They're not all that happy, but they're content. How Tsukimori envies that rival of his.
Hino glances around at the empty streets. She wishes she hadn't stayed out as late as that, but she hadn't even noticed how much time had passed. She sighs tiredly, exhausted from their discussion…
(yelling, yelling, yelling)
Suddenly, her back collides with the hard wall. The grip on her shoulders loosens when she winces. Hino peeks up, only to find Tsukimori slumping against the wall next to her. Concern for him sweeps over her.
"Where were you?" he whispers.
"I was at dinner," Hino responds.
"Why?" Tsukimori snaps. "Why were you with him again?"
"He's my boyfriend, and I don't see what this has to do with you," she replies, sharply.
Len sighs; exhausted. "He doesn't care about you, and there are others, but you already know that. Why are you with him, he's just using you like a trophy?"
"This doesn't have anything to do with you," she snaps, and walks away.
However, he's not giving up that easily. He pulls her back, and holds her close.
"You're better than that, and you deserve better than him," he whispers. "He just cares about showing you off. You should be with someone who loves you, and would live and die for you. He can't appreciate your beauty…"
"Tsukimori…" she breathes. "Are you? … Thank you."
She turns around in his arms and kisses his cheek. Instantly, his arms drop to his side limply. He stares as she walks away, but this time, he can still feel her by his side. As though there's an invisible bridge, always holding them together when they're far away. With a small, soft smile, Tsukimori heads back home. Happier than he ever remembers being.
Author's Note: Ah, sorry if you don't like the kind of music or them being paired with anyone but each other. I don't like it much either, but it's the song. I just had to write this for them. The urge was too strong!
Well, there's going to be more and more one-shots for them, but there's only one one-shot slot. So technically, the next slot will go to another anime or show, or something. Most likely Saiunkoku Monogatari. Sorry. Hopefully though, I can get them up quite quickly.
Thank you for reading! There's no preview for what's next this time!
