POV Annabeth

We are all above decks right now; this is much too exciting to miss. Piper is hanging onto Jason's arm like she might drift away if her hold softens.

"Remember what Chiron told us," she whispers, "they probably aren't going to welcome us with open arms."

"Who cares?" I demand as I walk up beside them, "If Rachel is right and Percy is there then there is nothing that's getting in my way."

I haven't slept in eighteen hours. Both happiness and dread have been keeping me awake. On one hand, I can't wait to see Percy; if we get stuck up in the air while he is waiting below I will willingly jump off so that I can give him a HUGE bear hug. But on the other hand, I have watched Jason since he came here. He seems loyal to his old life and friends but he is open to us and to Piper. What if Percy was the same? What if he doesn't remember me? What if he got a new girlfriend? What if Hera has messed with his memory and he thinks he hates us?

"Land ho!" Leo yells. He is at the helm right now, and with his bandana and battle scars he could be mistaken as a pirate. If I hadn't been obsessing over Percy for the past eight months I might have thought he was sexy. We have been flying over land our entire trip so I think he means that we have reached our destination, Camp Jupiter.

"All right people, we are trying to make this peaceful, we can't seem like we are attacking." Jason says soothingly. Despite his words, many demigods grip there weapons a little more tightly.

My eyes are already raking the landscape for Percy, for those sea green eyes and dark hair that I fell in love with. I am barely aware of Leo giving orders for boarding the dock. A couple dozen figures in bed sheets, no wait togas, are walking briskly towards us. And among them, THANK THE GODS, is Percy.

It takes an agonizingly long time for the crew to tie all the ropes and everything else that sailors do before they lower a wooden plank leading onto the ground. We are all rushing off the boat in no time, some more from sea (or sky?) sickness then anything else.

Jason, locked arms with Piper, are leading us but I push past them taking off at a sprint. But then I spot him, with both his arms nonchalantly slung over an Asian boy and… a beautiful girl with curly brown hair. I slow my pace dramatically, my expression drops to below zero and I am deciding on a handshake with him when he brakes apart from his comrades and runs at me, eyes wide, huge smile, and my name escaping his lips.

"Annabeth!" he yells as he picks me up from my waist and plants a kiss right on my mouth in front of everyone. Like I can complain.

When we brake apart I start to notice the people he is with. One of them is a girl with long dark hair and seems to be in charge of the opposite force. She seems overjoyed to see Jason and embraces him.

"Jason!" she exclaims, "We have missed you so much!"

"Reyna!" Jason is happy but awkward, still connected to Piper. Only then does "Reyna" seem to notice her.

"Anyway, welcome home." She shifts her gaze to the rest of us.

"Hello, my name is Praetor Reyna," she says formally, "And as long as you are peaceful, you are welcome at Camp Jupiter."

Leo steps forward to shake her hand, "I'm Leo, captain of the Argo II, and I am happy to accept your invitation." That seems to break the ice around us because people all around, in togas and not, start introducing themselves.

"Come on everyone, let's go get something to eat, AFTERWARDS we can talk about all the bad guys." Percy and I laugh and then follow Reyna up the grassy hill to a beautiful white building with columns. Every building in sight is a gorgeous piece of architecture, what a great day this is turning out to be!

I'll try to update as fast as i can.
