When I was born I was born late
March 17 at 7:17 was the time and date.
My father was so full of joy
Because he thought I was a boy.
A girl turned out to be just as nice
Because of all the sugar and spice.
I was born on a day with lots of green
Little did I know my sister would be so mean.
I'm so happy that I was born on St. Patrick's Day
So why not shout hip hip hooray!
As I stared at the water
It made me think of my father.
The raging, rampaging, roaring water.
Calling out for me to jump
Al I hear is thump thump.
Heart pounding loudly in my head
Thinking of my watery bed.
A soft warm hand touched my back
As the black dragon swooped down for an attack.
There I was in mid air plunging to the water below
I braced myself to let the world go.
My death was so quick and fast
I closed my eyes and thought of my past.
