Jim Shannon rummaged through Maddy's drawer of miscellaneous objects, looking for a jar of buttons for Zoe's stuffed dinosaur eyes. His hand hit a box before his eyes locked onto in. He held the box of condoms up, hoping he was reading it wrong.

He stormed form her room and asked his wife where his eldest daughter was. When she told him she was on a date, Jim felt white hot rage burn his veins.

He jogged from his house and shot straight for the Command center. When he got there he entered the office and demanded to know where Reynolds was. "He's otg at the falls, with your daughter. Why?"

Jim just held up the box and Taylor nodded, "You can have rover seventeen-k, but don't kill him, I want to punish him, he's a soldier damn it."

Jim didn't nod just left and headed to the rover station, taking off out of the colony and down to the falls.

He parked his rover next to the one his daughter and that soldier boy took to get here. He walked towards the corner. If he turned that corner he would find them, he was sure.

"Oh God, Maddy, you're so wet." He heard Mark groan, a chill running down his spine. He speed up his stride.

He heard his daughter giggle, "Well you are really too hard-"

"MADDY!" He rounded to corner and scanned them, she was in her two piece swim suit, entire body dripping with the water she just swam in. Leaning against Mark, who also wore swim trunks, she grasped his biceps.

Both their eyes widened at his presence and they scrambled to stand. Mark saluted her father as she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her.

"Dad what are you doing here?" She asked, confusion present in her face.

"I found these in your room and I just thought…" He held up the little box and watched her bury her face in her hands.

"Dad, I keep those as a back up, you know incase I ever do decide to have sex, then I'm ready for it." She sighed as Mark stood straighter with her words, "Dad, I don't intend to have sex any time soon, just go home, I'll see you then. I promise."

"Reynolds, you ever even try to pressure her into anything she isn't sure off doing, or doesn't want to do, I will kill you,." Jim wanted to say something else, but ended up nodding his head and retreating back to his rover, leaving the young couple to their date.

Jim could them he just hated the fact that that meant Maddy was growing up. And He was feeling older. Oh well he still had Zoe to over protect.
