Episode One -
Pokemon, I choose you!
Normal POV
Sun rose slowly in the mountains of Silver, that stretched majestically around the small but famous city of Pallet. This riny town had been home to many great people, which train the wonderful creatures that inhabit the lands and call themselves pokemon trainers. Red, Blue, Samuel Oak and many more, who trained pokemon and became famous. A few live to tell the tale of their exciting adventure in the famed land of Kanto, where our hero resides, right in the Ketchum residence of the Pallet town. He dreams to become a great pokemon trainer. Or more accurately put, is still dreaming.
Ash's POV
I woke up with a jump. While sleeping, something was telling me it's time to wake up, something which I ignored. Today I was going to start my pokemon journey and collect my first pokemon from Professor Oak, a renowned pokemon professor who was an old family friend of me. He had informed the 4 pokemon trainers, including me, to reach his lab at 7 a.m. sharp, but I guess I was late. Because sunlight was crawling entusiastically from the window. I assumed it was almost noon. But yet again I was wrong. It was 10 a.m. I got hurriedly from the bed and raced down the stairs without changing. If I was quick enough I would reach professor Oak's and get my pokemon in time.
Still in my pajamas, I ran down the road which led to a tall building with a windmill on its peak. That was the famous lab of professor Oak. While dodging passerbys, I bumped into one. The girl glared at me annoyingly.
'Watch out!' she cried.
'I'm sorry,' I hastily replied and made to run back to the professor's. But the girl suddenly jumped to block my way. She was smiling and produced a pokeball.
'You're the 4th Kanto trainer, aren't you?' she asked, to which I nodded.
'Wanna have a battle?'
'Actually, I haven't got my pokemon,' I said, scratching my head.
'What? You haven't got any pokemon,' said the girl 'th-that's a matter of shame! Where were you, sleeping or something?'
'Yup, I was sleeping.'
'Well, hurry now, or Gary Oak will take the last one,' the girl cried.
The mention of Gary's name made me spring into action. I sprinted again towards the lab. As I neared the lab I spotted a large crowd at the entrance.
'Gary's fans,' I muttered.
Gary Oak was a huge jerk. A seriously big jerk. He always bullied me and made me mad. Plus he was quite rich, and got his fame from his grandfather, professor Oak. Losing to that jerk was a nightmare for me.
There was he, fists raised in the air, stupid smile on his face. I forced myself through the crowd, wanting to see Gary's starter. Unfortunately, the moment I passed the crowd, he retrieved his pokemon back to his pokeball.
