Her first hint that something was a amiss was the red glaring tent from his eyes but it was the second and by far most dominating sound coming from deep within his throat. Watching as his eyes narrowed and his lips curled upward made her shake with terror, and a sweet delicious satisfaction.
Her first thoughts were to run and hide, to put as much distances between them as humanly possible. Then with a heart stopping moment she realized he would follow, that with his heightened senses he would track her to the ends of the earth. Casting her eyes to look beyond him, at what he referred to as his family she knew that they would have aided him in which ever action he was about to commit to.
The sound of a low growl came from him again and Tea knew her time was running short. The one known as Yami was being patient (though she knew she would never have enough time) and most of all considerate. But her instincts still begged her to run, to escape the monster that had dared to rest his stained lips a upon her innocent body. The memory of him placing his lips against her wrist and the sudden sharp pain that followed had her reeling in amazement.
Wincing as she lowered her head she fought off a shiver as that dark caressing growl came from him again she briefly wondered how long she could postpone the answer to such a question? For that's what the sound coming from his throat was, a question, a question no human should ever be asked.
It was the smell of smoke and the feel of urgency that over took her as she raised her tear stained face to his and mouthed the words, I Love You, and then fled as fast as she could.
