Prologue:

Wolfwhisper POV:

Wolfwhisper woke to muffled movement in the warriors den. She slowly opened her sky blue eyes into slits, pretending to still be asleep. Her eyes then took in the sight of her (Childhood?) friend Stormpelt looking down at her. a concerned xpression drowning his features.

he then sighed after a few heartbeats laying his head back, the curls on his bouncing back slightly and close his deep emerald eyes. He stood up and shifted to the enrtance his dark grey tail disappearing from view.

Wolfwhisper sighed as she stretched wondering what that was all about. However she shrugged it off, like she did to most of her feelings. Then head-down as usual she walked out of the den.

The blazing sun blinded her for a moment until her eyes got used to its intensity. It wasn't that hot, but the sun was shining brightly as the usual blow of a refreshing breeze passed occasionally ruffling her wolf-like pattern pelt.

She just stood there captured in her own thoughts. You see, WolfWhisper was a very quiet She~Cat she hardly EVER spoke. And when she did, it was always barely a whisper (hence her name). Which her clanmates always went silent to hear, infact all of the clans went silent to hear her rare words. She was also very reserved mostly spending her time alone. What she did in that time none of her clanmates knew. They didn't know that she had cried enough to fill the whole lake...or more.

WolfWhispers mind was taking her back many seasins. Ever since her rogue mother and father had died protecting her and her sister a part of WolfWhisper had died as well. Later her sister had died of starvation leaving Wolfwhisper to wander the forests alone. Eventually she had found her way into the clan at an apprentice age. Not many of her clanmates even KNEW her backstory.

Sometimes she was so miserable she wished she had died with her long-lost family.

She just didn't fit in.

Always alone.

She shook her head as if to clear it, though she knew she would never rid herself of her memories.

She would be scarred forever.
