Hi Everyone. I quickly wanted to say thank you for checking out this new series of mine. In this series each chapter focuses on a different holiday. I am only focusing on major holidays that I find relevant. Also In this series the Chipmunks and Chipettes are only one years old.

Its early Easter morning as the six little munks sleep soundly in their cribs. This will be the Chipmunks and Chipettes first Easter with Dave. In fact this will be their first holiday ever.

Dave wakes up extra early to get everything ready. Dave thinks to himself. "What's on the list for today? I have to get the Easter treats ready. I have to make breakfast. I should hide the fake eggs for the egg hunt first. I have to get everyone up and ready. We have to take the family picture. What else? I really hope I'm not forgetting anything." Realizing the busy day he had ahead Dave jumps out of bed and quickly gets ready.

"Let's see what's first? Oh yeah hiding the eggs." Dave heads down to the kitchen. In the kitchen Dave pulls out the fake Easter eggs and the small bags of candy from the cabinet. Dave places everything on the counter. "I'm lucky I was able to specialty order these eggs. There are five eggs for each little munk and they are made in their favorite colors with the first letter of their name printed on them. I think they are adorable and I know the boys and girls will love them." Dave opens the bag of eggs and the bags of candy. Carefully Dave places a small amount of the soft chewy candy into each of the thirty plastic eggs. After he was finished with that Dave went into their very large living room and started hiding the eggs in low and easy to find hiding spots. After a few minutes Dave finished hiding the eggs.

"It will take a little bit of time to get everyone up and ready so I guess I should do that before starting breakfast." Dave goes back upstairs and heads into the munks bedroom. To his surprise everyone was already up and sitting peacefully in their cribs. "Well good morning everyone. I guess all of you were excited about today." Dave said while looking around the room and smiling at his adoptive children.

Alvin stands up and looks over at Simon. "What is today?"

Simon turns to Alvin and gives him a look that tells Alvin he is in deep thought. "I don't know. Maybe east, no no it's Easter. Yeah that's right it's Easter."

"What is Easter?" Eleanor asked while looking at Jeanette.

"I umm think it's an umm holiday." Jeanette answered.

"I think Elle meant what is it for." Brittany said.

"I know!" Theodore said while jumping up.

"What?" all the other munks asked.

"Candy." Answered Theodore. All six munks start to make little cheering noises.

"How do you know that?" Simon asked.

"Dave said something about it before." Theodore answered.

"What a bunch of chatter boxes you all are today. If only we adults could understand what little ones like you are saying."

Dave starts getting everyone ready. Everyone gets a freshly changed diaper and then dressed for the morning. First is Theodore. Dave dresses Theodore in a cute little emerald green shirt with matching socks. Next is Alvin. Alvin is dressed in a solid bright red shirt and matching socks. Then comes Simon. Simon is dressed in a light blue shirt and matching socks. Next are the girls. Brittany is in a hot pink shirt, Jeanette in a purple shirt, and Eleanor in a dark green shirt. All with matching socks but unlike the boys all three girls also get a cute little bow in their hair that matches their shirt and socks.

After everyone is dressed Dave places three of them on each shoulder and then heads downstairs to make them breakfast. When downstairs Dave walks into the dining room and places each munk in their respective colored high chair. Dave then goes and gets the cereal and serves everyone a bowl of their favorite cereal. Dave feeds Alvin, Brittany, and himself Frosted Flakes. Eleanor and Theodore get Golden Grams. Simon and Jeanette get Trix. Everyone eats peacefully until Alvin starts acting up and begins throwing his cereal onto the floor.

"Alvin please stop that." Dave said.

"No." Alvin said but all Dave heard was baby talk. Alvin just keeps throwing his food onto the ground.

"Why you bad?" Brittany asked.

"Am not."

"Are to Alvin." Brittany said before taking another spoonful of her cereal.

"I'm serious Alvin stop that now or no candy later."

"I want candy." Alvin said with a sad look on his face.

"Bad boys don't get candy." Eleanor teased.

Dave's small but effective threat makes Alvin stop immediately. "That's good Alvin. Thank you for listening." After everyone was done Dave let them go into the play room to play for a while. "You little ones play for a while and in a little bit I'll show you your Easter surprise." Dave then turns and leaves the room.

Brittany waddles over to Alvin. "Will you play with me Alvin?" Brittany asked sweetly.

"Sure. What do we play?"

"Legos! I like building with you Alvin."

"Ok." Alvin and Brittany head over to the Lego box and sit down to play.

Simon goes and sits by Jeanette. "Do you want to color with me?" Simon asked.

"Sure." So Jeanette and Simon go over to the bookshelf and pick out their favorite coloring books to color in.

"I love coloring the dinosaurs." Simon said with a smile.

"Me too."

Eleanor and Theodore sit at the little round table in the middle of the room and start to play with the play doh.

"What you making Theo?" Eleanor asked.

"Cake."

"I wish we had cake."

"That sound good."

"Yeah."

Everyone plays nicely for a while until Dave come back into the room. "Ok little ones it's time for your Easter surprise. Follow me into the living room and we will get started." Dave leads all of them into the living room. "Now we are going to do a little egg hunt." Dave pulls out one of the extra eggs and shows it to everyone. "There are a few eggs for everyone and your eggs will be in your favorite color. Oh and before I forget the eggs have candy in them but you aren't eating it all at once. You can have some after we take our family photo. Now run on find your eggs." With that all six little munks run around the room trying to find all their eggs. All is going well until crying suddenly erupts from the corner of the room. Dave looks over and sees Brittany sitting on the floor crying. Dave rushes over and picks up Brittany comforting her.

"What's wrong sweetheart? What happened?"

"Alvin was, was a meanie and took my egg." Brittany said between sobs.

Dave looks down at Alvin just standing there and sees that he has one of Brittany's eggs. "Alvin Seville did you take one of Brittany's eggs?"

"No." Alvin answered trying to hide the egg behind his back. Dave reaches out his hand for Alvin to put the egg into. Giving up the act Alvin places the egg into Dave's hand.

"Now why would you do a thing like that to your sister? That was very mean Alvin and for that you can't eat any candy today." Dave then hands the egg back to Brittany who has settled down at this point.

"That not fair." Alvin said with a sad face.

Carrying Brittany Dave leads Alvin over to everyone else. "Okay since everyone is done we will take our family photo. Plus I got another surprise." Dave sets Brittany down and goes over to the closet and pulls out six very small bunny ears that are worn on the head. Each one a different color for each little munk. Dave helps everyone put on their bunny ears. After everyone had their bunny ears on the little munks couldn't refuse playing with them, owing and giggling at the adorable bunny ears on their heads. Sitting in his favorite chair Dave places the boys on his left shoulder and the girls on his right shoulder. "Ok, smile everyone." After taking the picture Dave gives them a loving group hug. "Happy Easter little ones. You might not remember this when you get older but I will never forget today. I love you all so much and I just know every holiday will be this special."

"Love you too Dave!" yelled all six of them at once as they hug Dave.
