Taki Haginosuke/Hiyoshi Wakashi
Prompt: Bellydancing
Title: Halloween
Personally, Hiyoshi thought that all his senpai were insane. After all, Halloween was only a holiday. There wasn't a need to make a great big fuss out of everything. But no, everyone was dressed up and ready to party, here at Taki's birthday party. Since Taki's birthday was only a couple days before Halloween, his birthday party had been a Halloween party. Costumes were mandatory and the decorations and food were all Halloween themed. There were ghost balloons and pumpkin lights strung around the room. All the regulars, plus half the third years had come too. Hiyoshi himself was dressed as a martial artist, he saw no reason to go out and buy a costume when he did not normally participate in trick or treating. Atobe had some glitzy outfit on, Kabaji was dressed in German lederhosen, Oshitari had been a vampire, Muhaki was a bird of some sort, Jirou was a sheep, and Choutarou and Shishido were in suits. However, it had truly been Taki-senpai who had outdone himself. He had dressed up, not as something normal, like a witch, or a ghost, but as a bellydancer, complete with bells and a veil. Currently, said bellydancer was sashaying past Atobe, Kabaji and Oshitari, straight towards Hiyoshi. Mentally, he groaned. He didn't want to deal with Taki-senpai, especially not dressed as a bellydancer of all things.
"Hey, Hiyoshi, what do you think of my party?" the other boy shouted, shaking his hips and clapping his tambourine above his head in time with the music blaring through the room. He twisted quickly, as he waited for the reply.
"It's… nice, senpai. Happy birthday," replied Hiyoshi. Unfortunately, his voice was drowned out in the loud music. His eyes, however, followed Taki as he twisted and turned.
"WHAT?" Taki yelled, unable to hear the boy. "I'm sorry, I can't hear you. Let's dance!" With that, he pulled Hiyoshi towards the middle of the dance floor, shouting greetings happily towards his friends.
"S-senpai, please wait, I don't like dancing!" Sadly for the flustered martial artist, Taki didn't seem to hear him and pulled him to a stop, twirling as he did so.
It turned out that Taki did hear, as he replied, "Too late, Piyo, it's the perfect time for you to learn how!"
Slowly, Hiyoshi just clapped and stamped in time with the music like Taki was, not making much of an effort. Taki noticed and quickly grabbed his hands, forcing him to dance "properly." Soon, Hiyoshi was actually having a moderately good time, even smiling a little when Gakuto came over and danced with them. Eventually, the party had to end, but as Hiyoshi left through the door with the other regulars they had danced with, Taki smiled and kissed him on the lips. Maybe bellydancers weren't so bad after all.
AN: Feel like the ending wasn't very good... Critiques are appreciated. ^_^
Oh and also, October 29th=Taki's birthday! So in a way, this is a bit of a birthday fic for him :)
Ack! I'm not sure what happened, but I somehow accidentally replaced this fic with "Just Another Party" for a while!
