Okay, people, before you judge my poor writing skills too hard, please keep in mind that English is not my first language so there's bound to be some grammatical mistakes and spelling mistakes and such, sorry about that. Now I hope you'll enjoy my weird thoughts and review review review.
:D
Clary was sitting cross-legged in her room, playing a card game silently to herself when she heard Alec's desperate voice form behind her.
"Clary," He said. Clary turned around, and she blinked in surprise to what she was seeing. Alec was a mess. Under his eyes, which were red-rimmed, there were blue-purplish shadows and his skin had a nasty grayish tone. His clothes were ruffled and oddly put together, and his hair was even messier than usual, some parts randomly sticking up and others hanging into his eyes. He also looked like he had lost some weight. But the most shocking part of all was the lost puppy-look expression he had. Clary tried to keep her facial expression and voice as calming and soothing as possible.
"Um, why don't you just ask Magnus then?" She asked. Alec laughed a chocked laugh.
"You don't think I've tried that?" Clary opened her mouth to speak, but Alec just kept on talking. "I've asked him probably a million times but he won't tell me anything…" A whining tone had crept into Alec's voice. "Not even when I agreed to go to one of his stupid parties with the glitter and the pink bunny costume." Too much information, Clary though. "So anyway, he texted me and said that until I get over myself and move on, he won't even return my calls." Alec suddenly looked like he wanted to break down and cry. Clary kind of wanted to give him a hug or pat on the head, but then he shook his head.
"So Clary, you're the only one who can help me now."
"How?" She blurted. Alec rolled his eyes, looking a bit more like himself.
"With the runes of course, you simpleton. Your "special" runes." Clary bit her lip and frowned.
"But Alec, I don't think I could do that. It would be, um, misusing my powers." Alec looked down at hands. Clary could see the last of hope draining out of him. She sighed.
"Okay, sure, I'll give it a try." She reached down and pulled her stele out of her boot, grabbed Alec's hand tight and squeezed her eyes shut, concentrating on one word – Will. Quite unexpectedly, a rune quickly appeared in her mind, and carefully she drew it on her hand. An instant after she'd finished drawing it, she felt dizzy. So dizzy, she had to support herself on the closest thing to her – Alec.
"Alec, I don't think…" She started saying, but was cut off by such an intense sense of nausea her knees buckled under her and suddenly she was falling, deeper and deeper into the swallowing darkness.
So I know it's short, but I'll update really quickly (or as quickly as I can seeing as my writing speed is about as fast as a snail moves). Yay. Bai.
