Hey guys um I wanted to write a short story and this is what I came up with enjoy!

Peeta is right next to me as a light yet another candle.

Each one stands for an innocent child, adult, or any person for that matter who died for me. Each one lit for one person that supported me. Someone who's missing from someone that loved them; everyone single candle begs each one of them for my forgiveness. I never ever meant for anything this drastic to happen, if anyone should've died in this war it should've been me. I wanted justice in Panem not death. That's why we have the candles. Peeta and I decided to light a thousand candles, one for everyone who died for me. Even though one thousand probably isn't the right number, it doesn't matter as long as each spirit knows that I am truly sorry for what happened. We covered the capitol with white candles, and lit them each one at a time. It is our own personal way of morning for the people of Panem. It hurts to see so many candles because I know that there were more than 1000 people that died over the length of the rebellion. It hurts even more to know it was because of me. I try to put the guilt aside and focus on what's really important… the candles.

Peeta and I split the capitol into two sections, his holding 500 mine 499 and at the very center of the capitol lays one special candle. I don't want to light that candle, but I know that I should. I doesn't matter how much pain he put me through, no one deserves to die. I see Peeta finishing up his candles and walking towards the center of the capitol. I meet him there after I light the last candle on my side. He looks up at me as if saying "are you sure you want to do this," and I nod and approach the "special" candle. There are multiple differences between this candle and the others, this is for a bad man, a bad leader, but he still died and I still feel bad about it. I take a match and light the blood red candle. And watch the red liquid wax drip down the side.

So I know its weird but I dedicate this story to the people who died in the rebellion. That's how obsessed I am! Also I know its short but I thought what the heck. Please Please Please Review!
