The JTJ: The Beginning
Chapter one
Jaeden was an ordinary kid. He was twelve years old and he was just moving to a new city with his family. "Hey, Mom, what school will I be going to?" Asked Jaeden. " I don't know, Jaeden." Replied Jaeden's Mom. "Okay." Jaeden said. They were driving to their new home. It was a nice two story house with an unfinished basement and a garage. "Man, I'm excited to meet new people here!" Jaeden said excitedly. They arrived at their new home and went inside. "Well, this is our new home!" Jaeden's Dad said happily. "We should probably get some sleep, though." Said Jaeden's Dad as he looked at his watch. It read 2:35 AM. They had been driving for a while. They opened up some sleeping bags and laid them out on the floor. Their furniture wasn't at the house yet on account of the moving truck being late. Jaeden drifted off to sleep.
They awoke that morning at ten o' clock. Jaeden sat up. It was a Sunday morning and he had school the next day. "Mom." Jaeden whispered in his mother's direction. "Mom!" He whispered louder. His mother woke up. "What?" She asked. "I'm gonna go check out the neighborhood." Jaeden stated. "Okay. Be safe." She said. Jaeden got up and got dressed in a plain red t-shirt and some jeans. He grabbed his navy blue hoodie and went out the door. He took a walk around the neighborhood for a while. Just thinking about stuff. "I wonder what my new school will be like..." Jaeden thought.
When Jaeden got back home, his family was awake. "I see you guys finally got up." Said Jaeden. "Yeah, we had a late night." Replied his mother. "Well, I'm gonna go upstairs and draw." Jaeden said as he walked up the stairs. He went into his room and opened up his sketch book. He had a pencil in his hand. He began to draw. Jaeden liked drawing comics. A couple hours later, Jaeden looked at the time. It read nine o' clock. "Holy crud! I've been drawing for at least a few hours!" Jaeden closed up his sketch book and went downstairs. "Oh, hey." Jaeden's mother said. "Dinner's on the table." She said. Jaeden ate dinner and went to bed.
He woke up to the sound of his alarm. He got up and went into the shower. Once he was out, he dried off and got dressed in a navy blue video game shirt, and put on some beige shorts. He went downstairs and poured himself a bowl of cereal with some milk. He sat down outside on the deck and watched the sunrise. He finished his cereal and with a goodbye to his parents, he went out the door to school. He waited at the bus stop for a while. When the bus arrived, he got on the bus and looked for a seat. He saw a seat in the fifth row and went over to sit down. Once he was sitting, he just looked out the window and thought about things. The bus arrived at the school. He got off the bus and walked towards the front doors. He opened the front doors and walked in the direction where he thought the office was.
He arrived at the office and told the secretary that he was the new kid. "Okay, you're in Miss Greene's homeroom." The secretary stated. Jaeden nodded and walked out the door. He looked around for his homeroom. After about a minute of searching, he found his homeroom. "Bingo." He said.
