Fai's POV
I hope you enjoy. Reviews would be appreciated! :D

With my vision blurred by wasted tears, I blink back the liquid emotion that threatens to escape. My eyes then rise to face the dark night sky, and I calmly attempt to see the clouds whirl around the moon in wisps of light against the darkness. They soon cover it, stealing the light from me and my attempted picture-perfect world.
As the rain falls down my cheeks I lower my sapphire coloured eyes to the ground. My vision blurs as thunder booms through the air around me. I then listen to the slow, steady beat of my heart while the pitter-patter of raindrops drowns out all other sound. My tears then begin to mix with the drops that solemnly form tiny puddles on the sidewalk.
The sound of footsteps echoes through the empty peace.
Slowly, I lift my eyes in the direction of the interruption. There you stand, my knight in shining armour. With sympathy subconsciously written on your face, you take a step towards me.
You have saved me many times over, even in many ways I couldn't hope to understand.
I gaze up into your powerful and reassuring crimson eyes. The protection they seem to radiate allows my own eyes to overflow once again. My tears blur your image, and I smile. You move forward, and I fall into your protective embrace.
After a moment, you take a small step back, and my eyes once again make their way back to the ground. You bring your hand to my chin and softly force my eyes to yours. Your rare small and reassuring smile puts light back into my eyes. Your smile is contagious, and breathtaking. It spreads to me... without me even realising.
Thoughts flowed through my mind: You always seem to be there when I need you. You always tell me everything is okay even when my world is crumbling or my heart is on the verge breaking. You are always there to put the pieces back together. You are my glue. You are everything I wanted you to be; Always. In other words, you're perfect.
It was then I knew I was dreaming.
I shook my head as my fantasy world slowly faded to the back of my mind. I extended my arms over my head and let a yawn escape my lips. Then I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as thoughts slowly shook me out of my dream-like state:
There would never be that perfect person. No one would ever be able to be there for you at every moment. No one would be able to understand every feeling that passes through you, or every thought that flows through your mind. No one would ever be able to be sweet all of the time. No one would be able to save me. For a person who understands this better than most, my hopes were quite high.
No one was perfect. They could only try to be.
I scanned the room for the 4 I have been traveling with and my eyes stopped to linger on a certain Ninja, across from my spot on the floor; the harsh but completely kind-hearted Ninja.
It was then I realized the person from my dream just may be real.
