DM Time To Visit The Dentist
"Girls, get ready. Today's the day" Lucy called, "Remember to give your teeth a good brush. You've all going to the dentist today". "Dat's right" Gru added "Eet's time for your check ups".
The girls quickly cleaned their teeth before setting off with their parents. When they arrived at the dentist's surgery and when Gru and Lucy had signed them in, the girls read comics while they waited. After a few minutes the dental nurse came in. ''Margo, Edith and Agnes Gru'' she called. The girls went with their parents to the dentist's room.
''Hello'' the dentist said, ''Who wants to go first?''. ''Me'' Margo said climbing into the chair. She wanted to show off how well she looked after her teeth, she was the oldest sister after all. The dentist used his mirror to look at Margo's teeth, then he gave them a polish then he asked her rinse out her mouth with the pink liquid. ''Very good Margo'' he said, ''you clean your teeth very well''.
Then it was Agnes's turn, ''there you go Agnes'' the dentist said when she was finished ''You've got lovely teeth too".He gave her teeth a polish too. ''Your turn now Edith'' he said when Agnes was done. Edith slowly climbed into the chair. The dentist found a small hole in one of her teeth. ''I'll have to put a filling in that tooth young lady'' he said.
He mixed some mixture together and pressed some into Edith's tooth before polishing the rest. When it was over he said ''Your teeth are fine girls, just make sure not to eat anything with a lot of sugar in too often. and make sure you clean your teeth in the morning when you wake up and in the evening before you go to bed.
He let each girl chose a sticker before saying goodbye. On the way out the receptionist wrote down the date the girls were due back for a check up.
Gru and Lucy also brought them a new poster which they put up in the girls' room. After the girls had cleaned their teeth before bedtime,
they looked at the poster with their parents. ''This poster will help you to look after your teeth girls'' Lucy smiled. ''It will also teach you Edith not to eat too many sweets otherwise you might need another filling,
luckily the dentist spotted that hole before it got bigger and you got toothache'' Gru added. ''I know'' Edith admitted, she would clean at least 6 laps of her teeth from now on.
