Lacy here. Holy crap, you're all really happy that I'm back. *smiles* Thank you, everyone for your reviews. I've got the next story for ya. It's When You Say Nothing At All by Ronan Keating. Some might recognize this as Don and Jess's wedding song from my series. Nothing more so have fun.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.

It's amazing
How you can speak
Right to my heart
Without saying a word,
You can light up the dark
Try as I may
I could never explain
What I hear when
You don't say a thing
They liked to talk with their eyes. For them, it said more then their words ever could. With their eyes, they could say 'I love you' without fear of being caught being inappropriate at work. With their eyes, they could say 'Don't worry, it's almost over' to help get each other through those hard cases. With their eyes, they could say 'Don't you leave me now' when one laying bleeding from a gun shot wound.
[CHORUS:]
The smile on your face
Lets me know
That you need me
There's a truth
In your eyes
Saying you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says
You'll catch me
Whenever I fall
You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all
On really had days, when their mouths said "Are you alright?" and "I'm fine.", their eyes would say 'Tell me the truth.' and 'No, I'm not okay.' While their mouths could let lies slip, their eyes always spoke the truth. Nothing would ever slip or go unnoticed as long as it was said with their eyes.
All day long
I can hear people
Talking out loud
But when you hold me near
You drown out the crowd
(The crowd)
Try as they may
They could never define
What's been said
Between your
Heart and mine
'I'm scared.'
[Repeat chorus twice]
'You're going to be okay'
(You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all
You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all)
Their eyes open for the first time in days and the first thing they see is the relief as they meet the others eyes. 'I'm okay' and 'I knew you would be' are clearly read by both parties.
The smile on your face
The truth in your eyes
The touch of your hand
Let's me know
That you need me
'I'm glad you're here.'
[Repeat chorus]
'Don't ever scare me like that again.'
(You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all
When you say
Nothing at all)
The others wonder how they know what the other is saying, how they can speak without saying a word. And sometimes, it's not the eyes doing the talking. It can be a simple smile or a small touch to the hand or back that says everything. That speaks clearly that the other is there.
The smile on your face
The touch of your hand
Let's me know
That you need me
But sometimes, no matter how good their eyes, hands, smiles and bodies are at getting everything spoken, sometimes, those words are needed out loud.
(You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all
You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all)
"I love you."
"I love you too."
